... and if you have, what are you Sun & Moon signs, or what dynamics were at play?------------------ it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness... IP: Logged |

Gloria, do you mean your Romantic match?, or in the astrological sense of "twins" match? ChrisIP: Logged |

UH! I failed to qualify that with an emotion, didn't I...I meant like when you've "finally met your match"... in a competitive way I should say... IP: Logged |

I guess I felt a little bit like that with a Sadge guy I was in love with, he outdid me in almost everything, I thought he was smarter etc. But I was just a kid then, 17. So what did I l know? Anyway he had a Venus scorpio, sadge sun and Virgo moonIP: Logged |

Yeah i think i have. Hes a Virgo Sun and Pisces Moon. Me and him are alike in many ways, but he tends to be a little better than me in all of it. He reminds me of myself...i think if i was a guy then i would have been just like him!IP: Logged |

This is so interesting. Keep them coming!Do you think "your match" would ever make a good long-term mate? As in marriage? Or do they come into our lives for other reasons? IP: Logged |

Thanks for clarifying! Personally, I have not met my match yet! My hubby comes intellectually close but I'm still able to get him on a few things! I think in other areas we are similar but not in the goofing around sense. He is mostly serious all the time and I like to joke and have fun. Don't get me wrong, he can be fun but not as often as I like having it! So even though we are married, I don't think we match in the competitive sense.IP: Logged |

Yes Gloria I think "the match" could be good in a longterm relationship, because you learn so much from them. And I think they help you become a more authentic and real honest person. But of course if you want cookie cutter relationships I guess the best thing to do is to stay away from the match and marry the neighbourIP: Logged |

Speaking of competitive match, i wonder if the any of these matches have Sun conjunct Mars of each other?? Me and my match do and it seems like this aspect is what causes this. What do you guys think? IP: Logged |

I think mercury has a lot to do with the match, mars not so much. Maybe pluto. My match was very plutonian. We did have Sun trine Mars though and mars square ascendantIP: Logged |

Hmmm now that i look more into it...me and my match do share a lot of Mercury aspects too!Mercury: Conjunct ASC, Mars, Saturn, Sextile Sun, Merc, Uranus Trine Uranus, Square Moon, Venus, Neptune, Pluto and North Node! Ahhhh so many squares! Wonder how that causes us to match..would think that would create more disputes though huh? IP: Logged |

And so... DO you dispute? And more importantly, if you do - are you getting your way?IP: Logged |

YUP - you were right. We have Sun Conjunct Mars:::"Sun in conjunction with Mars. You understand her emotions and like the way she feels about life. She can really move you to take action and accomplish things. There could be a shared love of sports, even a competitive feeling. This could be a long and romantic relationship." As for Mercury, we have::: Mercury Conjunct::: Sun, Mercury, Mars, Uranus Square::: Moon, Saturn, his Jupiter Trine::: my Jupiter *shrug* IP: Logged |

Yeah, we do dispute and its usually on emotional issues cuz he tends to think with his brain more than his heart. And mentally i understand his reasoning on those issues, but on emotional topics thats not enough for me - its too dry for me (cuz i'm a female i guess). But in all other things such as our views on life, goals, ambition, drive, etc we are in complete agreement. As for me getting my way, i do sometimes and other times i just let it go.ANd yeah, i think Sun, Merc and Mars aspects are critical. The Merc aspects give you mental compatibility and the Sun and Mars give u the physical drive and competitive feeling which keeps each stimulated. Astro, Are you married to your match? IP: Logged |
