-gemini girl-Funny you bring this topic up. I was litterly just researching the current transit of Pluto in my sign, Sagittarius. I was reading how pluto is now transiting through all Sagittarius's first house.
Now I know your a Gemini, but I can explain to you how a planet would transform your 1st house ( only b/c I just read about it).
Ok so here I go, Pluto's transit through any of the houses is all about the transformation. Pluto rules Death and rebirth. Regenration and transformation are Pluto's children. Since the first house rules:
1. The personal self
2. What you look like
3." Its chief characteristic is action- destiny in the making."
4. "The present. Defines the personality, appearance, disposition, and manner.
5. "Out look on life. The window through which you view the world." All these parts of oneself would would go through a transformation. The old parts of your personality, out look, beliefs, old habits, personal self would gradually die................. only for you to experience a rebirth!! This is one way one's appearance and personality could change. Or you could work on conciensly transforming your appearance and personality your self.

-Kittie- Just curious are you going through a Saturn transit through your first house?
Well any way, in answer to your question, Saturn is known as the Tester. I know sounds scary, and it is but it's beneficial for your growth. Saturn and Pluto are similiar in the way they both want to rid the old and let the beautiful, useful, and proper forms of yourself come to light. Saturn is like a teacher in the sense that she wants to push the student to perform their very best. So not all Saturn's lessons are easy.
Once again the first house rules:
1. What you look like?
2. Personality
3. Out look on life( how you view the world)
4. The present- destiny in the making If one has a saturn transit through the first house Saturn will test those first house characteristics.
The way in which Saturn tests is through a process. " through the chasenting process of testing,sorrow, delay dissapointment, limitation and privation, man learns the porpose of life is not only pleasure but to gain experience, patience, humility, wisdom and compassion."
Therefore, a Saturn transit through your first house would test "you" to change the characteritics of your first house from "skepticism, fear, suppression, materialism and self-preservation into confidence, dependability, reverence, wisdom and compassion."
So while in a Saturn transit through your first house if you are irresponsible in your general attitude, Saturn is going to give you a few lessons to retrain you into being responsible. So your first house Saturn transits are meant for imrpovement but it is also up to you. Free will plays a role in all transits! And remeber a transit is temporary, so if things are a bit tough now, they won't always be!!!

Jupiter, thanks for the reply. Yes. I'm having Saturn through my 1st house, and I feel it - I'm changing my job with more responsible one /which scares me so much/, I'm having difficulties with my relationship with a man, actually I'm having an inner battle about this guy and stuff like this.
I really really hope this tranist won't be so painful. At the same time transit Pluto is moving on my Sun - back and forth for some time now, AND transit Uranus moves to my MC and soon will be squaring my natal Mercury. Not to mention transiting Neptune squaring natal Moon
