Hi Astro Junkie,

I myself have never dated a Libra, But one of my best friend did for awhile. It's been 6 years since they broke up...she's still not over him.
He was always polite, sweet, kind and consderate. The guy was 6 foot 6 but he was the most gentle giant I've ever met! Haha, one of the few guys my friends brought home that I actually liked as a person. That being said, I'm a fellow air sign and so was she
In general I've never met one that I didn't like It's never progressed romatically for me, but the ones I've met have been pretty good guys.

Hope that helps alittle,
Take care,
NLG

So compassionate. Everyone's problems are their problems. It does take it's toll, too. They need someone who can balance those scales for them.. see it objectively again. Reinforce their sense of self and equality. Tell them they rock. { Another Libra perhaps? }Always coming up with interesting ideas, sweet gestures, caring about others. I always hear about their 'laziness'. But I don't see that.. I see balance there too. When they have to do things, or want to do things, they work until their bones hurt, and then take an equal amount of rest when they can. I am so in love with Librans. I find their passivity intriguing. And the fact that I tend to go the other way from that, I think they respect that in me. They need to be told " Go Ahead, stand up for yourself forcefully".. I need to be told.. "Whoa Nelly!" Yet they will stand up for others and try to do it receptively and compassionately, ruffling few feathers in he process. I love nothing more than their ability with words. Their communication.. They, above all others, seem to know how to make me feel sober and calm. The words just seem to be exactly what I need to hear, exactly when I need to hear them. *Swoon*

OOOH good a topic about me.
I am a Libra guy and I will take the opportunity to dispense advise about my kind.( I am getting all excited inside).
We like to be spoilt, liked to be pleasantly surprised,we are compassionate, love sweet talking, like to debate but must be something of importance,we do work to our bones thus we need to take equal relaxation(thanks pixelpixie for pointing that out),we unfortunately do get in a bad mood(when our scales are unbalanced),we are genuinely handsome BUT you already know that.
HOWEVER when you are around us just make sure there is no discordant noises around. That really upsets us.
GOSH Astrojunkie wish I could go out with you so that you will know everything about us LIBRAS.

Are libras the master of DOUBLE-SPEAK? My friend keeps telling me that. Is there any truth to that?

hey astro -

i love my libra guy!!!

he's a cap rising with moon in pisces, so he not at all a "typical" libra - except about the judge thing. the boy has super-high standards for himself and others. he just can't help himself. oh, and he's got the libra smile - it lights up my WORLD! it's breath-taking, really, and can win just about anyone over when he pulls it out and shows it off.

his brother is also a libra, and my sister is dating a libra (her last boyfriend had the same birthday as my last boyfriend - little sisters! ). both are very charming, but again - high standards. personally i like that, but i can see how it would be a turn-off for some.

as for the air quality - i find libras to be more "there" than my aqua and gemini friends. but the intellectual aspect of air i find very present.

what more do you want to know?

pix - i've know two libra-libra couples and both eventually went their own ways - and both because of money/decision-making issues. i think balance must require opposition sometimes.

I dated a Libra for 3 years. This is how I describe him.
Sweetheart, fun, always in a good mood, goofy, there for me whenever I needed something.
Just a great guy all around. He still calls me to see how I'm doing every so often.
He always complimented me and made me feel like the prettiest girl in the world.
Towards the end of the relationship we started to fight alot, it got really ugly. I still love him, but more like a family member kind of love, wouldnt want to be back together with him.

Only negative thing I have to say is, 'If Libra was a pool there'd be no deep end'.
We could'nt talk deeply, something I must do, with the person I'm with. He was never interested in reading books, or thinking about things. That really bothers me. I would say the fights were mostly my fault. I'm a real piece of work sometimes.

Anyway he was a great guy all-around. Liked to be there for people and do things for them. Whenever he was out, if he stopped at a gas station or a little store and they had flowers - he would buy me one.
Sweet.

Yeah ... Libra guys have the gift of gab in the same way Gemini's do, except they coat it with sugar, and what girl can resist that?

The Libra guys I've known do not really like to read and "think" about stuff, I'm not sure why, maybe they place more emphasis on socializing or firthand experiences. Aqua guys are ALWAYS well read and big thinkers

Anyways, the only relationship between two Libra's I can think of is Michael Douglas & Catherine Zeta-Jones.

oOoOo... libra guys are soo intriguing i LOVE them! i find they seem to have the best eye contact that makes me melt. i was in love with one earlier this year- but he got to be a little annoying because at times he was TOO friendish (not romantic enough)... the one that i fancy now is such a flirt (he has a girlfriend but i still can't stay away from him...) i suppose that's not a good thing that he flirts even with a girlfriend but i still like him. he's a great friend and lots of fun to kid around with.

***ohh side note... the libras girlfriend is a libra too- i think they're a great couple even though i'm jealous- theyre really good friends and i think they have a lot of fun together- seems like a good combo

The biggest compliment you can give a teacher, and the reason most are in the profession ( other than summers off) Is to make an impression on their students. Write him that heartfelt letter. Maybe he senses your feelings for him, but doesn't know for real..which is why he is in tune with your moods. So clarify with words, what he has meant to you. You know you will regret it other wise. * but please don't tell him the EXTENT of your feelings, in a romantic sense, that would possibly blow up and be uncomfortable. Go ahead and hint though...*
By the way.. I know you have feelings for him. Maybe you don't categorize it as a crush, but something real. Circumstances are forced on us that we would like to have otherwise. Who knows, in a few years, when he is no longer your teacher/you no longer his student ( and I might add, a little more aware of the strong points you possess, and confident) Maybe you will meet him outside of the school setting.
If not him, then, the qualities you see in him, in someone else. At least this clarifies that you want someone in your life who is sensitive to you and who you can trust.
Would you please stop the crap about you looking crappy. I am sure you don't, that is just your perception for whatever reason, and I hope it is a false presentation that you give off here, rather than a way in which you live your life.... or at least I hope you get over it when in a better atmosphere. You can never be a successful actress if you don't believe in yourself, or think you always look bad, because you need to be able to take criticism in that business, and I have a feeling whatever anyone tells you that is negative, you will believe. Undermining your sense of self. Build up a wall of light and project good things.
I am so hopeful that you can grow beyond this.

AND..... The man you want to love and be with will not care or see if you look like 'crap', nor do you want to be with someone so shallow. He will be honoured to be in your presence, and not see the things you see... in fact, he might think you look most beautiful, when you think you look the worst.

I second Pixel.
Send your teacher a card, he obviously has an impact on your life. It's nice to let people know when they effect us in positive ways.

Just imagine if you worked your azz off for shittty pay with a bunch of hormone and drug induced teens 5 days a week. The next best thing to getting a professional and sincere gesture from a student, would be to do a gallon of morphine.

Libra men, my ex didn't like to read books, but he loved manuals and technical documents. He would always say, if I had a question, look it up. He didn't read for fun but respected books and learning. He also had Jupiter in Sag/7th.

Libra men are very sweet but once they are rejected or hurt they will remember and bring it back up again and again, in order to be right. Aquas do the same thing only they they are more logical. A Libra can make you feel as if you must give it to keep the love.

The nicest thing a Libra did for me was when my air conditioner broke down and my ex, drove two hours to bring me a working fan. All the stores were sold out and he didn't want me to drive in the heat. This was after I left him, very thoughtful. He was full of thought and consideration at times. Other times he was just no communicative.

Just curious..
Do you mean like 'double entendres'?
Like~ "Ohhh, It's so hot in here." While you look intently at the person you are referring to and maybe touch somewhere soft for emphasis......
or
More unclear or sarcastic comments? Define double talk. I am the queen of double talk ( Both of those examples )..... and my Mercury is in Libra. So I am curious.....

Or "My sausages are really good, try one??" at breakfast.

They especially like words like
Nibbling
Biting
Kissing
Fondling
Caring
Concern
Lub
Need Love

As in I need Lub now!

Yes Libras are the masters of the double entendre
