Some signs might be more inclined to excel at certain things, I once read that more Aries had won Oscars than any other sign...Virgos might be inclined to be good healers...etc.

You might have a favorite flower, but they're all beautiful at the elemental level. You might prefer a rose, but a dandelion is still lovely too.

To me it implies that there is something inferior about being one of the other 11 that are not the "best."

There is a reason why there are 12 modalites, and each of our charts have the influences of many signs due to the nature of astrology itself.

No sign is the "BEST." The idea is ludicrous. Why must we put judgements on it? Don't we have enough external pressures? Doesn't society give us ample excuses to cripple our self esteem without adding the idea "my sign isnt the BEST!! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH"

Sorry. I hate sweeping generalizations.
I am sure that wasn't the intention of this thread, I just wanted to make a point.

I take issue with whomever said AQ aren't moody - in my experience they're just as moody as the next person, male or female.

I tend to get along w/ Aries women, I like them, admire their fire and forthright nature, Geminis in my experience are super flakes, which to me equals totally annoying and unreliable. Taurus'..well my hubby is one, and I've had bad experiences with them other than hubby so I'm too biased to assess. Cancer guys rock, a bit on the soft side, but great friends nonetheless, but I find the women to be manipulative and not the best of friends (like they'd set you on fire if their love told them they should)...Leos rock, but you better be ready to not shine, cause they feel they've cornered the market on that, but if you're someone who loathes the limelight, boy are they a lot of fun. Virgos, my limited experience was that they can be psychotically all about themselves, or the total opposite (the sign of service)...Libras, I don't know many, but the few women I know usually seem to have a real sense of style and grace, and the men are a lot of fun. Scorpios, well being that I'm one, I'm too subjective to say - Sags are a lot of fun to be around, Cappys are great unless they're the evil status-obsessed kind, AQ are great to intellectualize with, and then to my fav, Pisces, which someone already expounded upon.

Cancer men are the best company for long walks and star gazing in the mountains.

A Leo would tell you flat out that they're the best. A Scorpio would would secretly "just know" that they're the best, An Aries would have to prove that they're the best by defeating everyone else.

anyways, jokes apart, as far as my research says, Libra is the most compatible sign... thats why you can say it is the best sign.
