Share a spell . . .
A rhythmic chant,
A dance through the ethers
Magick kisses that enchant

Kisses that enchant
So fresh and sweet
Who'd have thought
We'd ever meet?

Do you know why
you are here?
I see your face
year after year

Yet sometimes in my darker hours
I wish to pick and give you flowers
O, that I were not so romantic,
You'd see my love for you is frantic!

And when your boat tosses to and fro
Perhaps it is time to adjust Ego
Transform yourself, no need to freak
Let Truth and Love strengthen the meek.

Were I a person of lesser stance
Were I a gossamer Gypsy's dance
Would you look upon me broken
and still my heart
with no words spoken?

I thought you weren't going to address me - I purposely kept my post different from the others so as not to be construed as responding to anyone in particular, however your response is obviously directed at my post - are you so soon breaking your promise? Or are we to stay out of each other's threads entirely?

Yes, speaking, I agree, has limits
To silence, then, and the magic in it!
For words when Winged Foot moonwalks be
The birth and life and death of me!

My bad, I didn't realize it was a continuation thing. I'll respectfully delete my contribution then, I didn't put it out there to be part of a serial poem, I must have misunderstood the point of the thread.

My words, alas, have done me in
I will not muster smirk nor grin
And if you let me off the hook
I'll fondly read your latest book.

The beauty of Poetry lights the way
The magick healing thread shall stay
Impart upon its readers' fairest eye
As Apollo smiles again on high.

Those tangled words become unglued
From her to him, from him to you
They lie in heaps upon the floor
the aftershocks settling the score
and we shall glide above it all
and weave this thread into a wall
of understanding growth and love
flesh on flesh, unmask the glove.
OR
climb on up and embrace the love

How lovely and sweet
For Apollo to come greet

A soothing grace
Atop my frowning face

As my lunch
of Terriyaki Chicken
Has gotten my tummy
terribly stricken
in grumbles
in fumbles
and oh, the mighty tumbles

Chin up, dear girl, for Pepto beckons
'Tis not for meat my sweet girl reckons
A hunger deeper I suffer still
So give me your bittersweetest pill.

To edit a post, just submit a rewrite
A new stanza where one and all delight
Inspired, all can toast while drinking
As quick and clever, lyrically speaking.

Aww . . .
Umm . . .

I look at these heaps
Oh Pixie, please forgive me . . .
For I cannot run out in the flesh
Across the street
As folks will think
"That young lady is awfully fresh"

As I must get some Pepto
*Stuffs cash in her pocket*
Now nobody can call me a Klepto . . .

The stomach pains
the sewer drains
sometimes pained words can be flung
and sometimes even better, sung
For one who walks within deceipt
feels it in the balls (of his feet)

"So out the door the young Ram charges
And into the restroom again she barges
To quell a rumbling and become whole!"
Write that on the wall near the toilet bowl.

Now pixie, did I prepare the chicken
To make our sister's stomach sicken?
Or did I merely have a little fun
Which hopefully she is making undone?

Yet I agree that bathroom humors
Can start the poopiest of rumors
What I meant to say was "Get Well Soon,
Come back dear Ram, you've more to croon!"

Magick is the name of this thread
named after the city I was bred
the Atlantian coast of possibilities
where we share the same cup with no disease

A cup half filled and one day full
By Eagle, Archer, Lion, or Bull
To quench the aching parchéd soul
To top it off and make it whole.
