astro junkie unregistered	posted May 11, 2004 11:01 AM Hey - Tonight's a really good night to check out Comet NEAT (named after the software which spotted it). There will be some electrical energy between it and Venus tonight, which may make the tail bend or elongate towards the planet. Just as the sun goes down, look to the west. NEAT will be just to the left of Venus. Here's a photo of NEAT taken by an amatuer in Arizona, away from lights. IP: Logged

astro junkie unregistered	posted May 11, 2004 03:52 PM Hee Hee... I love looking at the night sky, I'm surprised I haven't fallen into a man-hole yet. I saw the Andromeda Galaxy with my naked eye, and it wasn't difficult to see either, at this special time and place I was. A whole 'nother galaxy with its own Sun & everything. It can make push you to the edge of sanity if you're not careful. IP: Logged
