Okay, so I was thinking about the new guy that I met and I am now dating..We started talking on April 30, 2004 (moving quick..let me tell ya). From the onset, I had butterflies in my stomach..which only grew in intensity until our first date on 5/3 - which then stretched into a marathon date that ended on 5/6.

I also met my last dude..the ex- Mr. Leo on April 30, 2001. Same type of situation, I had butterflies in my stomach all the way out to Idaho and when my plan landed - I knew something was going to affect my life deeply.

These are the transits that I noticed that occured during both meetings:

1) T. Pluto in close proximity to my N. Venus in my 3rd house.

2) Sun in my 8th house (both are Taurus risings).

3) Personal planets in the 7th and 9th house. First meeting it was Jupiter and Saturn in the 9th with Venus in the 7th. Second time it was Venus in the 9th and Mercury in the 7th.

4) Saturn on the first meeting was opposing my Venus and in the second meeting it was completing my T-square with Moon (7th) Uranus (1st) and Mercury (4th).

Now in their charts each guy had the following:

1) Sun in conjunction with their Ascendant.

2) Saturn in close proximity to their N. Venus or conjuncting their N. Venus

3) Pluto in their 8th house

4) Venus or Mercury in their 12th house (where my N. Moon falls into each of their 12th houses)

Have any of you ever noticed meeting people at certain times of the year as being more signicant than other times.

I also seem to begin relationships as the Sun moves into Taurus. My HS boyfriend and college boyfriend both started off in late April - around the 23rf. I was married on May 6th and met Mr. Leo and Mr. Taurus on April 30. WEIRD.

Pid~ I , too, have noticed that my relationships tend to start in early spring. As far as the transits go, I suppose if I weren't feeling lazy, I could look it up now, but I wasn't into anything beyond sunsigns then.. might delve into the aspects more later though, for curiosity's sake. Thanks for bringing this interesting thing up!

Good luck with those butterflies. Good for you!!!

I too notice my relationships like to start in early Spring, or at least my animal instinct like the birds and the rest of the animal kingdom, becomes motivated to look for a partner. Like April/May.

Also, if I'm not hooked up Sept/Oct because the weather starts to get cooler & I long to cozy up to someone.

Pixie and Astro..yeah that makes sense - the whole spring thing. For me the Sun moves out of my 7th house and into my 8th - kind of moving the need for relationships to the need for very intimate close relationships..

Astro- you brought up another good point, the fall is another time when I usually meet people - must be that nesting thing going on.

I think it would be interesting to see what motivates people or what circumstance brings people in our lives.

Hey Pixie - how are ya feeling?

Hey Pid.. thanks for asking.
I am much better.. it comes and goes, you know? Like the Libra scales. Sometimes agreeing with yourself that right now isn't the time for action is all I need to quell the desire to move. In whatever form I am needing to.
I wonder if it is a combination of my Uranus conjunct both Mars and Sun and my Venus conjunct my Neptune, that gives me this wander lust. Not that I ever go far, but my mind always wonders....... and sometimes I am overwhelmed with my needs. But often they are not well thought out.

Another vote for Spring, usually I like to be in a relationship doubly because of my birthday in May. i like to have a cuddle bunny on that day, or at least get a massage. I find it works around Jan, or Feb, the sparks, and then there is fire around May. And the same in Fall.

Every summer Venus is in Gemini at the start right? Maybe it's good that we keep it light in summer, so many new people/sensations.

Feb/March is more heavy/moody for me.
This Feb I was dating three or four different people. By my birthday I prefer to be with the "winner" of the race.

But there is no guarantee that person will be around by Fall. I was told by a psychic that she always predicts meeting someone in early Spring because most people do.

I like to be close pretty much all the time but in July/August, or December.
This year I had a Pluto Transit in Feb, so that really heated things up, right after a Neptune transit. I was breaking all sorts of barriers and found love in unusual places.

I agree with the Pluto transit theory,
and I meet more air signs in spring and more earth and water signs in fall.

Pidaua, that is interesting. My time is usually when Venus is aspecting a key item in my chart-my sun, rising, moon, and best of all my 5th House (I LOVE that transit-usually happens in the fall when Venus is in Libra). I realized it last year when Venus started moving through my 5th...BIG...then transiting my sun/merc, then opposite my saturn which led me into what I believe to be a karmic tie. Now Venus is in Gemini in my first house and it's kinda nice. I had a date with a cute Pisces last night.

Good luck with this guy! What's his sign again?

Pixie,

Oh, I do understand where you are coming from. I must say though, your Venus conjunct Neptune - in a time like this- is just adding this very powerful, oh what is the right word..- emotion to your words. I can just about FEEL what you are saying. Well, from the outside it seems that you have two very differing and somewhat conflicting aspects going on that are somewhat being highlights. Is the transiting Neptune in Aquarius sending little beams to you right now? (you have Neptune and Venus in Sag right?) So I wonder if that Uranus in Pisces transit is triggering the longing for freedom..the need to just let go and "be" ?

Having a strong Uranus (man, I just can't say that without laughing) will pull you to NEED that freedom - so you have this need for freedom and a need to merge / melt and be spiritual. Almost like a crazy Moon opposed Uranus aspect..

Hmmm, I may be pulling thing out of...Uranus..but to me - having the T. Uranus in Pisces is wreaking havoc with your Saggie (Namely..Neptune) planets while that Neptune in Aqua is affecting your Scorp planets (Namely Uranus and the conjuncts)..see the pattern?

So you are in the middle of a cosmic sandwich..the tug and pull of Neptune and Uranus. One solution - take a bit of a retreat. Is there somewhere you can go by yourself for just a day or two in order to rejuvenate your soul? Some place that will satisfy your Neptune need for soul searching and the need for Uranus to be free?

Oxychick,

Hey there chiquita, how are you? I like what you said about the Venus aspects and karma. It makes alot of sense..hmmmm. cool. So tell me about Mr. Pisces? How did the date go?

My new guy is a Taurus Sun / Taurus Ascendant with his Virgo Moon in the 5th house. He acts very Leonine..and I LOVE his Jupiter in Aries..forms a very tight conjunction with my Moon in my 7th house..speaking of 7th house..my Venus falls in his and both our moons fall into the others 12th house..lots of Karma..

He is like no one I have ever met before and I feel totally free to be myself - expressive, happy, sad..goofy - because he is very open spiritually, emotionally, metaphysically. We both come from traditional Churchie backgrounds, but we have both formed out own spiritual awareness. He studies Taoism and I study Shamanism / Dream - we are both into astrology, but he is still at the semi-beginning phase. He is a quick study though..in fact he can teach me a thing or two about life from all his world travels.

One of the things I truly love about his personality is that he is very open and expressive. He is not afraid to talk about our differences. He won't think I am weird when I have one of those dreams that come true, or when I talk about Neptune wreaking having with my Moon or something like that. It is refreshing..

Oh yeah..and in addition to being in the Army / MP (working with the K9 unit) he is also....a licensed acupressure and massage therapist..YIPPPEEE..I LOVE backrubs!!! He also calls me his Little BiC..Little Bio-chemist.

Okay, I have to stop gushing or I am going to look like a dweeb.

Oh, yeah...and I am flying out to see him in Tucson on the 21st..hee hee..I just can't stand not seeing him. He's looking into getting reservations at the resort and spa...ahhhh...I am being spoiled..

This may be off the topic..but does anyone else have any stories about Taurus men? Is this natural for them?

Woo hoo Pidaua! I'm doing well tahnks! How about you? I dated a Taurus recently-incredibly sweet guy, always had a nice place in mind for us to go to. Those Venusians always like the finer things...

The date with the Pisces was fun! We had margaritas outside in the heat. Then we went inside for...air conditioning. I've known him for a couple of years. Funny story, but not one to share on a public message board (maybe off-site). Anyway, I originally had his birthdate wrong, so it turns out he's a Pisces Sun/Aries Moon/Venus in Aries/Mars and Mercury in Aquarius (like me ). Aries and Aquarius Moons seem to be a recurring theme for me.

Anyway, I have a Taurus Rising friend who sounds like your new guy. He loves making plans like that with the people he's dating. Don't question it, relish it! You deserve to have a wonderful time!

P.S. Don't forget to bring us samples from the spa.

Wow.. that post of yours deserves some thought. The great thing about posting here is that you see things from another's perspective, and often it is not something I had even considered. Plus, you are better at this stuff. Every once and a while I have insights, and in my circle, I am a veritable astrologer.. but.. here, I am still a puppy.
My descendant is Aquarius, too. In light of what you said, I am going to give this even more thought... considering it would be the seventh house. Hmmmmm........

Oh.. and Uranus? Heeeeeheeeheeheeee.

Hi Pixie,

Oh yes...I didn't see that in my "pattern" in my mind..but these transits have to be affecting you even more so...

1st house: how you present yourself..your personality

7th house: your mate - relationships etc..

It kind of becomes clear and fits even more..

You are struggling with your freedom of being who you are and your need to merge. First house vs Seventh house, which is a natural opposition - Aries / Libra - and all the issues contained in those houses are being highlighted by those T. planets.

Are you questioning who you are as an individual and how you are in the couple? I think you said something about feeling a loss of your identity through the relationship. It makes perfect sense.

Hmmm, that is alot to think on..Oh and for the record, I think you are a damn good astrologer!!!!

September or October is one of the best times for me...when Jupiter changes signs... and yeah, I can agree with the May thing too. I was supposed to have been born on May 2 (around Beltane) but arrived two weeks early. I always used to think that was why I perpetually felt so wonderful in May. But it's interesting to hear that other people are feeling it too. Curious...
