I have been through all sorts of reinventions in my lifetime - although I've always been very "safe" and tried to choose stuff that wouldn't bare too much flesh, or would be practical, and could be worn anywhere without people "muttering" (Virgo Ascendant?). Now that I've just turned 30 and realized I can still wear great clothes, I'm going (within reason)for Stuff Which Attracts Men. So: short skirts, deep V-necks, long black pointy boots, strappy tops, leather trousers, deep red lipstick teamed with black mascara, long, naturally blonde hair...you get the picture. Men in general do seem to like it (from some of the glances I get)! Maybe this is my Sun Sign personality...maturing...
I have been through lots of phases with colour. At one time, I wore nothing but purple, black and white for YEARS. Then I wore a lot of red, thinking, as my sun-sign colour, it would energize me - but fire-engine red doesn't really suit me. From the time of my marriage up till recently, I've worn lots of pastels and no black, but have started to reintroduce it again, along with fuchsia pinks. I love striking accessories like enormous orchid hair decorations, or a pair of fuchsia pink satin strappy heeled shoes trimmed with flowers at the ankle. Maybe this is my Sun in Aries teamed with Mars in Gemini...and the romance of Moon & Venus in Pisces...
Clothes need to have a really good basic cut, though. I'm not good with very drapy stuff or over-frilly or lacy stuff, it's just not me. - Why is it that Aries women can look absolutely fantastic in a cricket sweater and a pair of trainers? I have had tons of compliments from men when wearing aforementioned sweater (maybe because they'd actually like to be WEARING it?!) Underwear: thongs. Sleepwear: None (I find it inhibiting), but I do cherish a luxuriously soft, short hooded fuchsia pink dressing gown.
I don't go for designer labels much - now, I go for something because I love it, it's cool, and I can afford it. I love wearing something just for the experience - I have been through so many "looks" and worn things that nobody else would be seen dead in - but, no matter!!!
Any other clothes nuts out there?

I love clothes and accerories, and mine run the gamut, and I am attracted to style over fashion. As a fellow Aries, fire engine red and pinks do suit me, as well as blacks, browns and most greens and golds. Blue shades I don't wear well at all.
Designers I don't give a fig about, I'm generally a person who hates paying retail and absolutey loves buying a $100 dress for $10 (which I've done!). But I generally do like quality clothing.
I have it all, short skirts, long skirts, demure shirts, bustiers under bold tops, silks and satins. Plain black tights and fancy thigh high stockings. Flat shoes, and shhhh, I have two pairs of 5" heels. Killer heels. Generally impossible to wear them out, but they have uses.

Some of my clothing is trendy, some is traditional. Pluto and Uranus both conjunct my Asc., you never know how I'll dress from one day to the next.

Can't help it, I like to look good. An 18 year old boy at the local fruit market who has a crush on me was a little shocked to see a tattoo on each of my ankles--he said "you're so elegant, that's why I'm surprised." Sweet boy, made my day.

if i could wear nothing but ankle-length skirts and strappy tank tops i would. except for occasional ankle-length dresses. i wear tshirts but i dont like them anymore. i prefer to not wear shoes but i enjoy wearing nonleather boots with sturdy heels. but that's here where the weather's always hot. i also prefer cold climates and love wearing sweaters and getting bundled up under the long skirts with longjohns. i wear healing stone jewelry

I've been thru lots of fashion phases too. I used to wear loud, "look-at-me" (leo rising)clothing in high school. Thank God it was just a phase, lol. Now I dress pretty casual and conservative. I like jeans and a cute shirt. Very little make-up aside from my purple eye-shadow. I like sandals or sneakers. For special occasions I like dresses and sandals, nothing too provocative though. I have a Virgo ward-robe to the core.

I like both interesting and unique, as well as simple and stylish.
I too, ( with my Leo rising) used to dress to provoke... I liked loud, different clothes. Now you'd most likely see me in fitted clothing, usually tans and caramels, I really like the monochromatic look. I have a thing for elegant wraps and ponchos, paired with simple pants or jeans. If I am wearing something somewhat revealing, I will pick a part of the body to reveal, and the rest to conceal, so as not to be too 'provocative'. I like heels, but also flats. I have a few key interesting pieces, and am always on the look out for interesting items.. be it shoes, a hat, or a beautiful feminine blouse. I like things fitted.. no slouchy sweatshirts for me unless I am playing sports or camping....
So it's fabrics that feel good, and have function, but simple patterns with usually one element of interest... but not too many things going on at once, to make a statement. If I am wearing monochromatic tans (which I usually like) I will pair it with an interesting purse, or hair clip, or earrings or shoes. I like drama, but I also like concealed drama... a hidden flash.
(A red thong peeking out of an otherwise plain outfit) I don't mean overtly peeking either, I have to WANT it to peak .
I like classical styling, but with a sexy twist at times. I have a thing for fitted boots.
I love my makeup, and wear it well.... even if I am going for the natural look, it will be 'on purpose'.
Right now, I can't live without my bucket hat.. blue small wale corderoy with baby blue piping.. it's Puma, and have the T.O. Maple Leafs logo on the side.. sporty, but I love it. I also have a tan bucket 'fluted' hat... with all my Leo rising hair, I like hats. ( Which I might add, I have red again, and it is finally grown back past my shoulders.. with curly hair, it's so hard to see any change when it's growing!!) When my friend sends me the pic he took yesterday, I will post it to update....

When this Oklahoma weather starts reaching the high 70's I wear low rise, short's. The shorter the better, and a short shirt. I'd go nude if I could. I wear a soft cotton bra and cotton thongs.

My clothing styles are all over the place. My closet has knee high leather boots, pastel sweaters and even some pinstripe. Today my make-ups a little punk, yesterday natural, and tomorrow probably something out of 'glamour.' It's weird, everyday I want a different look. I'm a sun/pisces, moon/virgo, asc/leo.

I love jeans and tops...or black pants and sweaters. Lots of black, creamy white, khaki and red. I love slightly flared (boot cut) jeans with classy shoes (I usually wear practical flats, but expensive shoes). I really like polo or "ref" tops (the ones with the v-cut and collar), no armless shirts cause I hate my huge arms. I'm not a jewellry person either, I like little earrings, don't even wear my wedding ring most of the time. The only piece of jewelry I wear every day is my gold bracelet-watch. Oh, and my gold chain that I got from my mom--I feel naked without it.

I tend to swell a lot (saturn in cancer--leads to water retention, and we're talking up to 10 kg difference in 2 days!) so I usually only wear stretch material. I think stretch jeans are the most wonderful invention ever. Plus I have no waist, so stretch jeans let me wear my actual size that fit me through the hips as well, while being able to still button them up lol

I also have a bare-foot thing...as soon as it is feasible, I start wearing sandles without socks and don't change back into solid shoes until about october.

What'evers really clean,

White, T-shirts, clean jeans, no underwear if I can't find any, I don't bother with details, just clean, clean, clean hair, skin, natural make-up, and no bra or panty lines. Clean and comfortable!

I went through a pair of thigh high black leather boots once, everyone was very respectful! A little too hot for me but you get noticed.

I am now wearing my hair shorter than ever before, its' my new accessory. It's a warm auburn colour and sort of spiky at night. It actually makes me look more feminine and with it I can wear big earrings and less clothing. Perfect for summer.

Big modern contemporary rings, and earrings are my favorites right now.

For a Scorpio, I'm partial to blacks and maroons. I mostly wear jeans with black or red tops. Sometimes white tops.

Yes, I'm boring

No matter what I tend to wear, it has to all give me the look of being "streamlined" - maybe it is that Horsey nature of the Sagittarian, but I like that long legged, lean, graceful look.

Also, I can't feel like I am in a bind or constricted in any manner. I will wear suits / skirts for work, but even at that, they have to be fitted, but allow me to walk fast.

I always through in an element of "sexy" weather I am wearing a T-shirt and Jeans or a power suit for a meeting. I will dress in a way, where my body is accentuated but in a very non-provacative manner. I'll wear a tailored suit with a skirt and couple it with knee high boots or a choker. I also have a collection of "pins" and brooches. So depending on my mood or what kind of meeting it is, I will wear something to reflect it. Like there was a time I had to meet with a boss I didn't like, so I wore all black and a striking "pin" that had a cat- whacking around a mouse...it was my way of saying "you are wasting my time and you are but a mouse to me" LOL..sorry - but Pluto rising can be a bit...ummm. snippy!!!

I love sundresses and flirty skirts / shorts for the summer-anything that keeps me cool, free moving -is not to binding but doesn't feel like a potato sack.

LOL..here is another anal retentive Virgo rising thing that I do; I write down what I wear during my work week and make comments about how I liked it. That way, I can dress for cold, hot days or days with important meetings and know what I am in for. LOL...GEEK!!!!

Since I live in the Pacific NW, I wear a lot of pants (never jeans ... unless they're stretch... just don't find them comfortable). I like to wear sports pants, or low rise cords. I love peasant shirts, or anything with those long flowing, floppy sleves. My cleveage is usually showing slightly. I can't really help it, but to wear turtlenecks all the time. My torso is short and my breasts are quite large. There's no hiding them!

I usually wear a neutral color or pastels. I have (unnaturally) blonde hair and blue eyes with a neutral skin tone, so as for color... really, anything goes. I've gone through many color phases. I used to really be into forest green and burgundy. Now, it's more pinks, baby blues and soft yellows.

I don't wear a lot of make-up, and I love powders and foundations that give me a little glow. I also LOVE to wear glitter. Lipgloss to match my color scheme and mascara... oh yeah... and bronzer! Living here, I really need it!

I prefer to wear sundresses in the summer with strappy high heeled sandals. I would dress like this all the time if I could.

Usually a g-string, sometimes a thong, rarely full butt undies (except for those cold winter days when I need a little extra layering ) My take on the undies argument is: It's all going up there anyways, so I choose the least amout of fabric possible to be *up there*. Might seem a bit neurotic, but my undies are always cute and match my clothing... except when Auntie Flo comes to town. Then anything goes.

... and girls, aren't you just stoked about the new thong panty liners?! I know I am!!

Sorry boys... just had to add that in!

LibraSparkle -

Welcome to the Glitter Club!! I am a total glitter girl - which is known here to all the LindaLanders...Do you have any prominent Saggie planets?

I like bikini panties - hit cut, lacey - really I like the see through mesh, my panties don't normally ride up..but I cannot wear g-strings or thongs- to me they are constricting because I can feel them in places I would rather not LOL...I mean, I will wear them at certain times...like when I know they will be off rather quickly.

But, I love to have my panties match my bra and I especially love panties with glitter on them..or shirts with glitter...or the best..shirts with MONKEYS and GLITTER hee hee...I love Aeropostale and their monkey mascot.

Pidula~ Thanks for the warm welcome! I would love to be a member of the glitter club. I have Neptune in Sag, 10 degrees. Not too prominent, but enough to make me a member of the club! Yay!

You're lucky you don't have the "ride up" issue. Sometimes I think it's the shape of my tushy that makes 'em creep like they do.

Welcome new Glitter member

I have a few panties that bug me..I throw those out - if I am really in a snit then I will just go commando LOL...

My issue is with Bras. I love them, but man, when I get home I just want to release those puppies If it's warm I will wear a bra top tank but if it's cool- then I just let them free under a T---it's like one of the first things I need to take off.

It all has to be comfortable.
Hi heels are long forgotten. (I refuse to drive on short distances - up to 3 miles, so I have to wear comfortable shoes)

If I had to make a list of qualities:

1. Comfortable
2. Well fit
3. Unique but not too extravagant
4. Natural materials

Oh, and it has to say Yin to all that see it but in a really subtle way. After all it expresses my own personality, right?!

(Re: Pidaua's "thong" question
Funny, I knew another Saggie who wasn't into thongs either - said they were "a bit draughty" for her liking...preferred comfortable cotton knickers...
On the other hand, I was introduced to thongs by my Saggie mother, who said I ought to dress for my man...she has Venus in Scorpio and likes black lace etc...also Leo rising, and really loves fashion...and now I wear them all the time.

But, to go commando?!! Not sure I have enough confidence for that yet!
