Hello Friends:
I am a Pisces female and have just acquired a female Gemini Boss. She is or is trying to be a bit mysterious. Any insights? Thanx in advance for your time and have a peaceful day.

Are you getting BAD vibes? Or good vibes overall?

Gemini bosses are perfectionists when it comes to details or technology, the same Mercurial influence Virgo gets. Gemini's try to make fun a part of work so it doesn't get boring.

Make sure your boss gets fresh air frequently through the day. Gemini rules the lungs.

I work for a female Gemini (and a male Libra). I don't know if I would say Geminis are "perfectionists," because they definitely do not have the minds/patience for details. BUT they are *very* impressed when they see that you've thought ahead. This is because they're quick-witted and often think far ahead of other people. And since they can't be bothered with minute details, they're less likely to micro-manage and naturally expect you to accept autonomy and run with things on your own (but are happy to answer any questions along the way).

The Gemini I work for is just incredibly bright. I could listen to her for hours and not be bored (this from a Gemini Rising). She definitely has some inconsistencies (she's mutable and although she believes one thing, she won't argue the corporate politics game and sometimes give in a little too easily). But I can follow her inconsistencies. She is moody and I am pretty good at predicting her moods these days. But the bad moods don't last long- she's just not a morning person.

One of the reasons why it may seem hard to 'read' her is because Gemini is an air sign. They don't wear their heart on their sleeve like water signs do, they are detached and have a difficult enough time showing emotion in personal affairs, so they're definitely not showing it at work. They're intellectual beings and are impressed by good thinkers.

I hope that helps!

You just described my Gemini boss to a T!!!!! Perfect! She is quite understanding and easy to work for..... But don't try to pin her down to anything.. she needs reminding... it isn't natural for her to think in terms of 'how can I help you' but she will, if given a logical reason. She is very impressed when you 'think outside the box.'

Hi Pixelpixie

You are absolutely right! She needs constant reminding and can't stand to be pinned down to anything. Are we working for the same person?

Edit to say: My Gemini boss is very undertsanding too. I came in at around 7 on Tuesday for an early meeting. My boss looked at me at around 2 or 3 and said "You look tired. Go home." AND on Friday she said "I'm leaving early. Why don't you do the same?"

franzusd,

You're a Pisces and probably look for some sort of emotional sign from people to read them. Trust me, you won't get that from Gemini. They don't play games like trying to be mysterious (a Water sign might ). They're just aloof and emotionally detached. Look for other signs-like the way their eyes widen when you voice an idea, or the way they might try to build on your ideas. My Gemini boss encourages me to speak up more and values good communication.

Thanks a lot. I have a son that is 26 and a Gemini and I guess I was tying to compare and there is no such a thing. I get good vibs, but very silent. I know she is understanding. She does grab a huge project by the horns but she misses a lot of little things that is very important witin our company and somebody needs to let her know or i am in hopes she wil figure it out. I am very witty and that is when I see her grins of approval. I want her to feel welcome but don't know how to approach her. She's been with the company for 6 months and she micromanages only 15 of us. I just think she neeeds to say good morning or have a good evening when she leaves for the day or SOMETHING..oh well..thanks again for all the input..Deb
