HI there, I am moving this weekend, wish me luck. So far everything has turned out badly in terms of planning, so I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I wrote before that I invited a Scorpio to move in with me and she hasn't moved out for three months. At this rate, I have decided to move myself and my three cats elsewhere and let her worry about it. It's been really tough to pack and listen to her at the same time, plus she is unhappy about not having any furniture and it's amazing how many things come out of her mouth that are all about her.

I am starting to sing that country song

"Sometimes, it's nice to hear about you, you, you, you all the time, but sometimes, let's talk about me, yeah, me.

Wish me luck, I will back online around Tuesday hopefully.

My cats have to stay behind until I can get situated and they are ultra moody about being anywhere without me. They are twin Geminis and like to pee on anything and everything when they are moody.

Thanks for your support,
Natasha

Where are you moving to?

Good that you are removing yourself from those neg vibes.

Hey, Montreal's only about ten hours away from me by car.(hee hee, only)
Good luck. What about Mr. Gemini?

Fabulous place, Montreal. So accepting and cultured! Do you speak any french?
I went there for my Honeymoon.. and Old Quebec.. it was so beautiful. The people were very kind, despite what Canadian separatists would have you believe about their attitude toward anglophones.

Hey thanks, yes I speak french, my mother's family is french speaking so it's not too bad in terms of culture. It's 4.5 hours away from my current home in Maine, and the Gemini is sad but we don't know what else to do. For one thing, his home is in a much more expensive neighborhood and he inherited his money and I didn't, so there.

I would buy a house near him but I think that area is overpriced, next year it may change. I have to do something about my situation now and we don't want to live together as of now. He has an aunt an hour away from Montreal and I think he will be visiting her a lot so we can meet there.

He could also afford to rent something in Montreal part of the time, so finances aren't his problem. I will miss him very much and visit at least twice a month. Luckily I got a new car this year. Right now we see each other every weekend, I don't know what else to do honestly our relationship is too new to plan around.

Last time I moved in with a man to save time it was a disaster.

Oh yeah, totally! Sometimes the fates force you together and it is a lesson learned. Living togther is too often the worst case scenario. You seem to have all the priorities going for you. Travel and distance is nice. I think I would like that in a relationship, really.. as I crave solitude, and too much together time is just ... too much. I think I'd miss the spontaneity though.. but other than that, it'd be my cup o' tea.
Sounds great!
So do you have dual citizinship? ( Is that even an issue between USA and Canada?)

I never bothered with formalities before but I am making sure I have both. For most it's not really an issue anymore in terms of working and living in Canada and the US since NAFTA.

Yes living apart is nice sometimes,

Natasha

I've said here a long long time ago, that even IF I were to get married, I'd still want to have separate homes, and then date for the rest of our lives. We can stay a few days at a time at each other's place, and then take a little break. Or even set up a little neutral love shack.

I have always thought the same only now I have compromised to seperate rooms same house

Long Distance that is only a 'few' hours away doesn't seem so bad...

Good Luck with that too...

My Leo and I (nah still don't have his birth time...) will be trying to do long distance although he doesn't have much faith. I think that if you want it, it will work.
(5-6 hour drive 50 min. cheap flight...) we'll see.

I think it will be fine!!! Boy it seems like a year of change for everyone!! Is there somethin' going on that I don't know about

Love, and wonderin'

Welcome to Canada! and good luck with your move! I hope your Kitties will adapt well and you too! Montreal is a nice city, I've only been there once, but I liked it, has that european feel. Well, all the best!

Wow, Natasha...that's so bold of you! I admire your pluck. Do you know people in Montreal? My company's head office is in Montreal, and I go there once or twice a year. Actually, it's in a suburb of Montreal. I've only ever seen the town from the airport to the burbs, so I can't really say I know much about Montreal proper. So...tu parle francais? C'est bonne! Welcome to Cannuck Land.

Hey Canadians swing by and say HI!

Thanks, that's me very plucky like the Rooster my Chinese animal.
**** -a-doodle-doo!

I will feel more plucky when I get there, the city is alive right now and full of flowers, sigh.
I do miss the Gemini already but I can't control other people. We can barely control ourselves:>

Maybe I'll get another cat,

Natasha

Cats are a good way to practice control.

Sweetie don't worry. The Gemini will come around. You are too good of a woman to slip through his fingers...he'll realize that before it is over...watch and see...

The end of this year is going to be about internal growth for us remember

There is nothing like distance from the object of one's affections to bring this on.

It always works out...always (it just seems to take longer than it should )

Love,
Amber
