I just realized four of the some of the most prominent broadcasters have two of their inner planets in common. All these people have Sun and Mercury in Capricorn:::

Rush Limbaugh
Sean Hannity
Katie Couric
Howard Stern

Kind of amazing.

Not all but most of the Cappies and Cappie Mercuries I know I secretly admire.
Secretly because my Libra Moon strongly disagrees with their(my Cappie Merc.) brutality.

Howard Stern also has Sun and mercury opposite uranus
Uranus being the higher octave of mercury

Interesting. I am a broadcaster.
Sun and Merc in Aries.
Moon, Jupiter adn Saturn in Cappy.

Oh...Cappies are brutal, Yin? Not all of us with strong Cappy...some of us are gentle...though I have those Aries warrior tendencies, they're usually meant to be for a higher good.

Hope I explain this right.
Its the "higher form" of the planet
Venus rules beauty, harmony,and sociability.
Appreciation for fine art and music
Neptune is the higher octave of Venus. It reveres beauty in its broader, deeper universal aspect. Venus is exalted in Neptunes sign Pisces

Mercury and Uranus
Mercury rules the mental process through which one aquires knowledge by observation, perception, reading, writing, speaking and listening
Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury. It rules a mental sign, Aquarius. It governs that phase of the mind which is not dependant upon the ordinary perceptive process. Uranus represents accumulated wisdom gained through previous experiences manifesting as intuition. (thier ability to grasp information from thin air) Mercury is the learner, Uranus is the knower.

Mars and Pluto
Mars is concerned with physical and sexual energy. It rules the physical body health, and outward directed energy
Pluto is the higher octave of Mars. It is concerned with energy directed inward for spiritual growth. Mars represents destruction and violence. Pluto represents the rebirth that follows death, and the tranformative process.

So in essence, you are talking about where each planet is EXALTED? Or is it something else entirely? I'm not sure I'm grasping. This is really cool!!

no this is not the exaltation because we're talking 2 planets and no signs.
Where Mercury is very basic learning, Uranus is enlightened. Same goes for Venus/Neptune and Mars/Pluto. Reread the above post.
Interesting observation, a mercury/uranus conjunction in the natal, is a genius aspect.

lalalinda,

So, in your own opinion, how might having Mercury SQUARE Uranus differ from having Mercury TRINE Uranus?

Thanks so much for your time and effort.

I know I bug you a lot lately, lol.

PPFM
Where a trine has easy/flowing aspects a square is "compromising" (give and take)
Your square, aside from being smart can show sarcasm and nervous energy/tension.
And as we all know you have a knack for words (interesting posts)

AJ - the striking thing about these four folks is the strength their opinions - and how their belief systems influence the content of their shows (well, is that true for katie couric? she doesn't seem as "strong" in her opinions as the men, but i'm least familiar with her). it seems they're all "persuaders" - rather than reporters or entertainers - and extremely partisan at either end of the spectrum. is this where cappie comes in? i would imagine one needs a thick skin to maintain a presence against so much opposition - regardless of where it comes from. i wonder what they'd all say about being compared to each other!

All check this out in augest 30 when i start Broadcasting-TV in college.

I'm in it for video editing and camera work.

But all try to notice what the planet placments are in for the people who want to be broadcasters.

My mercury is where it should be in, in gemini.
