How do their influences differ? e.g. I have 5th house in gemini with Jupiter there (with only trines and sextiles to it)the 5th house's ruler mercury is in the 3rd house (only squres and oppositions to it)To me it seems the ruler really 'rules' I dont feel any influence of Jupiter at all, ohh maybe it is just that I am very generous with those I love... OK - I'll give it a shot -When you look towards the Ruler of a House, ex: 7th House Gemini = Mercury You are first keeping in mind all the things the 7th represents. So you would probably be drawn to, or even attracted to Mercurial minds. When you look at all the Planets partying in one of the Houses, it shows the energy it's "pulling out of" that House. ex: Venus in Libra is in the 9th House Along with the Sun, Mercury, Pluto and the NN. So you think of all things associated with 9th House and think of pulling out extra aspects of that House, making it more pronounced and natural. So in ex:, it says this person is very sociable and has stature. IP: Logged |

what aspect if any does mercury make with jupiter? Your 3rd house mercury is in its "home" house so its strong (smart). Any aspects mercury makes to another planet, evaluate the aspect and look to the house the other planet rules example mercury(3)opposite saturn (9) but saturn ruling the 8th house this could show an interest in continueing your education ( mercury and the 9th house) but hardships (saturn) with money/tuition (8th). Jupiter is lucky in the 5th with only trines and sextiles I'd say you're lucky in love and children love you. You are generous to a fault and you should stay away from gossip (jupiter in gemini)IP: Logged |

I would say I am unlucky in love and I think Lilith on the cusp has something to do with it mercury makes conj with sun (8th house ruler) opposition with uranus from mc (intercepted aqua in the 1st house) squares saturn from the 7th (acs ruler)

Hello Peri, You have a really strong chart I'd like to see the rest of it. Your asc. ruler in the 7th house (saturn) is exalted in Libras house, this alone assures (especially since its saturn) sucess. Your 5th house, ruler of your 5th house, and venus all have to do with affairs of the heart. Jupiter there is such a beneficial plus, its energy is probably so easy to integrate in the natal that you don't even notice it. This alone draws others to you, this is very positive energy and reflects your views on 5th house matters (especially with only trines and sextiles) Your sun/mercury opposite uranus definately follows the beat of a different drummer but is in no way negative (I rather like this aspect) but it does draw strange events to you (or strange to whatever is considered "normal") Because mercury is involved (3rd house and Rx) there is nervous energy/tension, a bit high-strung, but smart as a whip. Self control is only an issue untill you learn to sufficently control it to your own satisfaction. (and you will/or have, uranus won't stop untill it conquers) As for lilith, I am so old school astrology that I don't understand it well enough to use it in a natal chart. If I missed something let me know. The square from saturn to your sun/mercury and uranus makes this aspect a T-square. This magnifys your will to overcome/suceed.IP: Logged |

I know, three of the House positions on one of the Synastry Wheels I was studying changed too, while everything else stayed the same. Such as my Sun once being in his 10th, now it's in his 9th.IP: Logged |
