I am counting my blessings!!! Mr. Taurus does not have to go to Iraq for the protective services mission. They took him off the list because he had just returned from Korea (and had prior service in Iraq, Bosnia and Kosovo). Today he was told the name of the recipient of the protection detail - Saddam Hussien. The detail is to provide the protection during the bulk of the trial and relieve those on duty at this time. Even though I am thankful he is not going- I will be praying for everyone on that detail (in addition to our service people) in Iraq. Thank you all for your prayers and warm thoughts. I just wanted to let you know what the outcome was concerning his possible deployment. ~Pidaua IP: Logged |

By the way, I am leaving now to get to the airport and fly out to Vegas. I am driving with my mom to her new house (and to my future new town) in Northern Idaho. Wish me luck..LOL
I'll be back at a computer on Tuesday or Wednesday. Happy Fourth of July!!
