Hello all! my part of marriage is in exact conjunction to the cusp of my midheaven at 18 degrees  Does this mean I'm going to marry my job? IP: Logged |

I'm not sure. Seems the marriage may be very public, or you work with your marriage partner.Did you already look at the Signs & Houses the Part is in? It's in the 10th? IP: Logged |

Ok, I calculated where it is, by using the minutes also instead of just the degrees...So, it is at 19 28 in the 10th house. Does that make a huge difference?IP: Logged |

As you probably can imagine, it is difficult finding info on the Pars, other than how to calculate them.The Pars in the 10th House is said to be in it's "superior position". The other powerful House to have them in is the 1st. Plus what I said about it earlier. Maybe someone else will come up with something. .gloria ------------------

I've been looking into this as well, interesting you should be posting this thread. I think it would mean, your career and public standing will play a large part in your marriage, which means your marriage may actually be dependant upon those things, or those things will be dependant upon your marriage, but probably a little of both. It could also mean an enhanced stability and staying power of marriage & carreer by the fussion of the two. another possible interpretation is that your marriage has your father figure playing a large role. Maybe he introduces you to your husband and promotes the marriage strongly, maybe he hires your husband, maybe you, as a couple, inherit or take over his business. Eithor way, it probably means a very public marriage, that becomes a large part of your public persona. It would be interesting to see the aspects your other natal planets make to this point, and where your future husband's Part of Marriage falls in his chart. IP: Logged |

Thank you astro and lioneye! Lioneye, the aspects to it are (well actually the aspects my MC make in my chart-I'm assuming my Part of marriage also makes these aspects because it's only off by like 1 degree) MC sextile sun, uranus
MC trine saturn, north node
MC square pluto, part of fortune (this one scares me.  I hope it's not bad...) Also my venus is in my 10th house in aquarius at 10 degrees... Where are you getting the research information Lioneye? Also at http://www.noendpress.com/pvachier/arabicparts/index.php there are several "parts of marraiges" to calculate, i'm confused....
