I am trying to keep a positive mental image of Scorpios in my head today, in order to deal with a Scorpio woman. Can anyone help? I need to focus on positive, helpful images. My Cancer moon needs a visualization to gain strength.

Thank you,
Natasha

I am a Scorpio chick, and I am mostly a good one. Plus, I like you. Does that help?

I know a Scorpio chick in my immediate life who is very negative. Whenever I am feeling low, I think how far I am from her behaviour. I haven't always been, but evolution is a good thing, and you know, once you make up your mind to be positive, it will happen. I wish her evolution. I wish you patience.

One of the best things that I have found to be true about Scorps is that they are consistant. This makes them dependable and also predictable. They are also very generous when they decide it is in order.

Hi,

Scorpio is the mystery sign of the zodiac. It is the death sign and the sign in which the battle must be fought between the soul and the personality. The personality has to die. Devil or angel - there is no in between.

There are three symbols for Scorpio. One is the Scorpion, the lowest symbol of the sign who, rather than forgo the pleasure of stinging, will sting himself to death; the eagle, a symbol of a bird that can fly closer to the Sun (spirit) than any other; and the phoenix bird resurrected from the ashes of the dead self.

I have known many Scorpios, each operating on different levels of their signs symbols. Some have risen above and some operate from there lowest levels. But I guess the same could be said about all the signs, right?

Sthenri, remember Scorpio is our opposite sign, and you know what they say about that. You either love your opposite or hate 'em. I mostly love Scorps, but I've really hated them too, I mean the ones I love. Either way Taurus and Scorpio will feel strongly towards one another.

There's Tink, Isis, 'Scorpioqueen' ( you know who you are .) as well as some who pop in here infrequently... some cool Scorpio chicks here .

We can be a pain in yer ass... ( I am speaking strictly for myself here, fellow stingers, so don't get offended)
My mother who is a Capricorn with a Scorpio moon, has told me many times that going against me in anything, in my childhood, was nearly impossible. We have battled and both come out the victor ( though also both losing) and I can't tell you how many stories she can tell you ( she'd better not, I HATE that!) about how horrid I have been. But, aside from her long memory, if you truly ask her if I have been anything negative to her, or within my own life,to others, in the last ten years, her honest answer would be no. I have come along way, and have had to pay pennance for my past, and rise with dignity out of my own ashes. I am at the stage, where I identify with the emotions that sad little girl went through, but I have learned from them, so I am able to look at it sympathetically, rather than personally. I can face people from the past, as the person I am now. I claim ownership of my inner devil, but I have whipped her into shape, and now I put her to work for other, better things. But I still see the struggle. I know it well, when I see it/feel it through others' evolution. Use your legendary Taurean stability to oversee those frustrating ways, and be immoveable and see it from outside. Wish upon her insight to see her behaviour. But try not to critisize openly.. maybe in a kindly, constructive way...... Be the better person.. actually you are.. by asking for a positive perspective.. you are. Be patient. Tomorrow is a new day. ( so cliche!)

Thank you everyone, and pixie. Yes I am trying to view this from the outside you are right, but it's very difficult for a Taurus to be detached.

I am practicing, holding on tightly, and letting go lightly, when I am able.

Thank you for the visualizations. The one I like best is consistent, at least I can feel secure that way, although I still feel that Scorpios are not exactly predictable.

Take Care

Natasha

Pixel -

Everything you said sounded a lot like me growing up, but being a Libra, there were a lot of the Scorpio traits which took me many many years to hone. I still always learn from Scorpio's, and once I learned to deal with my ego stuff, Scorpio's were the best. Maybe people get freaked out because they think "scorpion sting" or that it's a "negative" sign, "feminine" sign. But then they'd just be projecting their insecurities onto you, which makes it a good thing that Scorpio is a Fixed sign with resolve and nerves of steal.

When I think back on nuances of Scorpio influences I noticed in myself growing up, (made more potent w/ a Cancer Moon), had to do with real majic and transformation. Majic could be so many things, like getting someone to say or think something you wished. Or taking the time to understand the essence of a situation, rather than accept it as ordinary or generic like other people have.

As for transformation, knowing that no matter what, there's always mystery in life that we can embrace. We study HOW to have certain mysteries revealed to us. The process itself. Then we transform ourselves into a force which can relate.

Was it Linda who said Scorpio women were ahead of their time? But it's not in a "look at me I have on the latest fad" style. It's more like EONS ahead, to the point where we really live in our own heads a lot. Like one day spitting on the sidewalk, surprised when it explodes.

(never knew my own strength...)

Archer -

You are right about that. It's the single most powerful tool I have. Study the ways of the ninja.

- We love life and experience.
- We're not afraid.
- We have confidance, and when we don't, we still appear as if we do (we have that in common w/ LEO lol)
- We quickly jump to the defense of those we care about.
- We are consistent, even if it's consistently weird.
- We're hot and steamy.
- We have great honor.
- We are very loyal.
- We are usually very self aware (of both the positive and negative within ourselves)because we turn that piercing gaze in upon ourselves quite often.
- We are responsible, but are also spontaneous.

**Disclaimer: that is a completely and utterly biased POV from a Scorp It is in no way meant to imply that only Scorpio has those traits.

One of the issues I have with my Scorpio friend is consistency and dependability. We have totally different styles in that respect and find it hard to find common ground. I am working on seeing her as ahead of her time (literally). She is on a different time zone than me, I think.

I find it hard to keep my temper and patience in check when faced with too much inconsistency. I am working on it.

Scorpios are very confident, that is true, but more confident around the opposite sex. One issue I have is that my Scorpio friends are much more secure and predictable around men than women, which leaves me wondering. Once I wonder, the hard feelings start. I can see that men are more predictable than women, is it that the Scorpio woman is very adaptable to others?

If that is so, I still find it hard to find the center, the consistent friendship base, that I need to rely on sometimes. Scorpios do make great companions, for dinner and movies but if you can't spend time together than I find the friendship falters.
To me that is a tough one too, but I am doing my best to send positive images to the world to keep our friendship.

Thank you,
Natasha

I've said this before, but I think Scorpio women has a secret wish they were men. Was it Linda who said this? I don't know. But Scorpio women wish to have the freedom, respect and power that men in general have in the world.

A really good example or image to put in your mind is, Scorpio Demi Moore in "G.I. Jane". Not only her character in the movie, but the fact that she took the part, shaved her head, experienced comraderie with "the boys", and became one of them during that time.

Notice how she's tried to push the envelope for women. Posing naked while pregnant, playing a stripper, dating Ashton... she seeks to establish her power in an independent fashion, not in traditional ways.

Another example is Scorpio Rosanne, announcing that a housewife is a "domestic goddess".

Scorp women need total commitment in a friendship, if you don't call at the usual allotted time they will want to know why, and remind you of it. They do expect you to come to them, rather than the other way around.

BUT...
Scorpio females also have a great sense of humour...they don't have an ostentatious Aries-type hearty laugh, but their grin, which surprises you when you least expect it, stretches from ear to ear...
