"This was the most comprehensive survey ever done covering the bulk of the galaxies that represent conditions in the early universe," Glazebrook said. "We expected to find basically zero massive galaxies beyond about 9 billion years ago, because theoretical models predict that massive galaxies form last. Instead, we found highly developed galaxies that just shouldn't have been there, but are."

I know ... so glad you can appreciate that too. And to think that each of those galaxies are hundreds or thousands of light years in width. Just one! And then the distance between the galaxies. And my mind cannot even begin to wrap around "one billion years". We really need to appreciate and respect nature, I believe.IP: Logged |

----------------------------- Each with 'a' Sun and planets -----------------------------every star is a possible sun. so each galaxy has millions of suns and related planets. IP: Logged |
