What does it mean when you have a lot of your houses empty? I have nothing in my 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th and 7th houses. That's weird I guess: half of your houses are empty. My 5th house only has chiron. Okay, thanks.------------------ Get some love in your groove, just get hip to forgive... - Michael Franks IP: Logged |

it simply means there is no planet to express its energy in that particular house.IP: Logged |

Hi Silverbells,Even though you don't have planets there, you still have signs on the cusps of these houses. So the signs energies express themselves through that house. Like I have Cancer on the 7th house cusp, and tend to express myself in a Cancerian kind of way in my one-on-one relationships. See? No house is really ever empty. Ive also heard that "empty houses mean, you don't have as many lessons to learn in these areas as certain other people might. In this life you will be expressing alot of the planetary energies in the particular houses they are in. Those houses with planets in them hold much importance for you. You also may have some of the asteroids in your "empty" houses. Have you checked those yet? The most widely used asteroids are Ceres, Pallas, Juno, Vesta, Eros, Psyche..... Hope this helps. 26

Thank You 26taurus. I haven't really looked into the asteroids because it seems kind of complicated and I wanted to be able to know all about the planets before I looked at asteroids. Also, I was under the impression that asteroid influence was more subtle and maybe less necessary to look at. Thanks for the names of the asteroids. ------------------ Get some love in your groove, just get hip to forgive... - Michael Franks IP: Logged |

I know what you mean about the asteroids. But they sort of grow on you, and if you at least know which in your chart stand a chance of making a difference, you will understand it's power. Especially when you also know what House(s) they are in, because then that way, it's not just an independent asteroid/planetoid standing all on it's own. You can look and see what other planets you have in that House too, and then you can grasp it better. .gloria ------------------ it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness... IP: Logged |

Thanks for the explanation astro junkie. I have my chart at astro.com. And they have a chart at the bottom of the chart but I don't know what all of those symbols mean. Are you familiar with astro.com? What is that chart at the bottom all about? Ok thanks.------------------ Get some love in your groove, just get hip to forgive... - Michael Franks IP: Logged |
