When I pondered on this, I immedately thought, "the Earth signs!"
(and not just because I'm all three! sun tau, moon vir, asc cap)

We get such a bad rap sometimes, as being the boring ones. But honestly, I believe we are some of the funniest signs out there.
I think Linda said in Sun Signs Taurus has a keen sense of humor, but one has to watch for it.

Some of the funniest people I know are Virgo's and Capricorns, or people with earth strong in their chart. My mother has Capricorn Rising and Moon and when we get together sometimes, we are on the floor rolling and in tears with laughter.

People with strong Capricorn or Virgo are really "quick", I've noticed. Maybe I find them funny because I am similar to them, I dont know.

I also have to say Scorpio and Aries have great senses of humor and are very funny.

But there are different kinds of "funny" best explained in one of the articles I found below.

Just hilarious...but I do believe it has to do with how you receive humour yourself. I laugh at everything, but some people love for example slapstick, and others hate it. Some love intellectual/political stand up comedy, other's just can't stand it.

My cappy hubby (who has a gemini asc) can also be very funny, but the mood has to hit him (hard!). My saggie son, with a cappy moon says the funniest things, too.

Hubby's aunt, a triple cappy, is the most BORING and HUMOURLESS person I know--I avoid her where possible, because I can't resist picking on her and she gets hurt and angry lol.

Aries: very "in the moment," off-the-cuff, and opportunitistic humor. Can make a joke out of anything. Can very crass and sarcastic but usually doesn't mean anything by it

Taurus: no offense, but the bulls I've known haven't been very humorous (but then again I'm a Gemini), yet seem to prefer sexual and bodily humor

Gemini: witty, sometimes too witty, something not realizing only they think their jokes are funny. Like farce and light-hearted humor, good with impersonations and role playing, and often doesn't like sexual or body humor too much (most Gems that like fart jokes or toilet humor probably have some earth influence going on in their chart)

Cancer: prone to very quirky, off-beat humor. Likes to play pranks. Can be extremely sarcastic, usually in a defensive way (wach those claws!)

Leo: good at telling funny stories or antedotes, but often not so good with improvizing humor; enjoys a good roast as long as they're not the one being roasted

Virgo: Another prankster. Also good with dry, sardonic wit and very cerebral, observational humor.

Libra: Likes humor if it makes them look good or attractive.

Scorpio: most I've known seem to prefer light-hearted humor and can be racy or a little crass, but they tend to avoid making humor too personal unless they have a score to settle

Saggitarius: like Aries, but goofier

Capricorn: sorry, not a Cap fan. I find their humor to often be way too harsh, vicious, cynical and mean-spirited. They seem to be the opposite of Cancer: using sarcasm in a offensive way

Aquarius: seem to run the whole gambit. They'll do everything from highly cerebral wit to very gross body humor.

But maybe being a Taurus/Cap. rising, you would just stare blankly at me, since we are the two *non - funny* signs to you.
