Please do share your funny stories too.

When you cannot remember if you said something out loud, or if you just thought loud.

One night was with my baby and we were sort of peeling one more layer off, and I said, "Do you remember that conversation a long time ago about being too hot to handle?"

He goes, "You mean, between US 'too hot to handle'?"

Yeah.

And he's like thinking about it and can't remember anything, after a couple of quick seconds my palms start to sweat, and I'm like, "Or didn't I say it out loud?" And I started laughing. "Maybe I just THOUGHT it, and didn't say it out loud."

And he's like grinning.

That's funny, AJ.

I sometimes confuse things I saw in dreams with real life.

Hmm. Or, get mixed up about WHO I actually had a conversation with.

Not sure if I've ever mixed up inside dialogue with outside dialogue. Probably have. Just can't remember! lol...

My boss and I (I'm a gemini, libra asc, she's a libra, gemini asc) often think we tell each other things, and then get mad because the other person "forgets" what we said. At least once a day we have the convo: "didn't I ask you to do this or that??" and the other one, often rather grumpily, "NO!!! you didn't SAY that!!" and then it becomes a mini-war about whether it was said and forgotten or forgotten and not said lol

I often think I tell people things, because I play out the scenario in my head. Like if I'm mad at hubby, and have to wait till he comes home to yell at him, then I go thru the whole fight in my head, what I'm gonna say, what he's gonna say, how we are going to react. And then when he comes home, I forget to yell at him, cause in my head I already did!

I call my Scorp SIL (one of my dearest friends) my external brain. She never forgets ANYTHING... EVER. Me, well... I'm a scatterbrain.

Example:

Three weeks ago I took a movie over to a friend's house (The Canabal by Matt Stone and Trey Parker... hilarious, btw) to watch with SIL and friend. Watched the movie. Forgot to bring it home. I babysit my friend's kids, and pick her up from work. You'd think going into the house daily in the last three weeks I would have remembered the movie. NOPE! On Tuesday hubby put a dork stamp on my hand that read: MOVIE, so when I dropped my friend and the kids off I wouldn't be able to forget the movie. Well... guess what?! I did! LOL *sigh* So, the next day my friend packed it in her diaper bag and made sure to call me and let me know it was in there. Five minutes before I walk out the door with the kids hubby asks, "Did you take the movie out of the diaperbag?". Do you think I did? .... LMAO ... Nope!

I am so forgetful... sometimes I get on my own nerves

These are hiliarious!

Pixie -

What's the problem? Like, when you can't remember if you said something out loud, or just thought it loud.

I'm glad I'm not the only one.

AJ, I have the opposite from that. I suffer from Foot in Mouth disease. Often I'll say, "Oops. Did I say that outloud?"

I remember things often verbatim. I can remember where I said it or what was said to me, what I was wearing and where I was sitting.

It drives people crazy. It drives Mr. Taurus crazy, now HE thinks he has said things when he really hasn't. He refers to conversation points we haven't had. I try not to pick on him, but sometimes it drives me nuts and I think my "rainman" memory freaks him out.

Oh well...then again, I sometimes forget where I have put things- like my car or my purse. He remembers those things quite well.

LS- I too suffer from FMD...it is terrible.

Oh lordy lordy... I'm forever losing my keys! The worst is when I go to the mall (usually Clackamas) and lose my car!

I have a cute little flower antenna decoration now to help me in this area... but somehow I am still able to forget where I parked it. The flower makes it easier for me to spot in the parking lot

the memory is divided equally between both the parts of the brain. the right brain memory is in the form of pictures and videos. and the left in the form of words. i have good former but week latter. uness i don't form a picture in ymmmind about anything i study i cannot understand or remember it.
