I came across an interesting article on ancient astrology regarding indications of fame in an individual's birthchart .The main points are paraphrased below: 1) The lot of Fortune ( the arabic part of fortune), Spirit, Basis or Exaltation or it's lord found in a pivot (angle) of the chart. 2) The lord of one of these found in the 10th from itself indicates honors, particularly in the 10th from the lot of fortune. 3) The lord of one of these found in another pivot (not the 10th) from itself brings eminence to some extent (particularly the first house). 4) When any of the 4 lots above have lords exchanging places, if, for example, the lord of Fortune is in the Spirit and the lord of Spirit is in the Exaltation and the lord of Exaltation is in the Basis, etc... this is an indication of eminence. 5) The lord of one of these lots conjunct a bright fixed star (particularly one of the 4 royal stars - Regulus, Aldebaran, Antares and Formalhaut). 6) The lord of the ascendant in the 10th or in some sort of dignity. Any of these when present may indiacate that the person will huge gain public recognition and fame. I guess many of my friends here already know a lot of astrology but for those who might not be familiar ,here's how you calculate the lot os spirit/ fortune/exalation-

Hello Phoenix-I think it would be interesting to find out about Fame in th 10th...I have Pluto and Uranus in my 10th and often wonder if there will ever be anything more than constant change with my career. For the forumlas used to figure out ALL the different kinds of "Parts", including a calculator which figures it out for you::: www.noendpress.com/pvachier/arabicparts/index.php In order to find the placements of your Royal Stars, go to astro.com. Click FREE CHARTS on left Click EXTENDED CHARTS then on left bottom use the alphabetical listing for all other star bodies, find the code for the ones you want, and insert in proper field. TA-DA!!

hi gemstar hello A.J. i went to astro .com but the extended chart does not have the names of the stars i needed to find out...but after much hard work i fhave discovered a great site that gives the positions of all major fixed stars.here's the link- www.astrologycom.com/fixedstars.html however i now have i qs. in mind the position of spica for eg. is given to be 23 libra ...now spica being a royal star ,does that mean that anyone having any imp; point of their birthchart eg. ascendent on 23 libra will have this strong indicator of fame ..is my interpretation right??IP: Logged |

Phoenix -Next time you go to astro.com, put a checkmark in "ADD FIXED STARS" under the EXTENDED CHART section. Sorry about that... They come up! Thanks for the alternate link too. It's the same one I had on file too. IP: Logged |
