Anything specific you're curious about? Yes that's a mystic triangle alrighty. The thing that stands out the most is the clump of signs (a stellium) in Pisces in opposition to Mars, Pluto and Uranus. Normally, an astrologer would say such a person has limited talents or interests, usually focused on a narrow topic or goal. This person is probably very ambitious given all the activity going on in the 10th house, and probably have the talents to get recognized in his (?) career path. However, the numerous opposites are like energy being pulled in conflicting directions, possibly making it hard for this person to focus or collect his energies toward acheiving his goals (especially with Mars and Pluto in conjunct and pulling against his Sun stellium). He'll have to work for what he wants in life, no doubt.

The 10th house placement has a big dark side: it's highly prone to profound discouragement due to it's excessive desire for acheivement, recognition and status (god I know all about this - my sun and Venus are in the 10th house). Strong 10th house personalities are prone to depression and substance (drugs, alcohol) abuse/dependence. And guess what? So is Pisces. A seriously troubling double whammy, I'm afraid. If this person has avoided serious depression or a run in with drugs and/or alcohol, he should count his blessings.

His has a definitely "lucky" aspect, and that is his Mars is trine Jupiter. This usually means such a person can weather out whatever life dishes out, but it won't protect him for getting a little banged up in the process. However, the Jupiter-Neptune opposition could mean unrealistic expectations or confidence in his own luck. If he's someone who think luck should pull him through, he needs a reality check. Because this Jup-Nep opposition in squaring his MC, any false confidence or superstitions he clings to may have an adverse affect on his career or life goals. He's far better off relying on his individuality, wits, intuition and creativity (Pluto/Uranus on 5th house cusp, Mars in 5th, Mercury in 11th house) than gambling on luck.

I think that's enough for now. Let me know if you think I'm on target or way, way off.

Gemini -

It's "Mystic RECTANGLE" - not triangle. Don't worry, I did the same thing for the longest time.

From what I've observed from our new visitor, I'd say from observation alone that you are extremely accurate, and it concurs with my first post on "who he was".

Is he going UP Stream?
Is he going DOWN Stream?

If only he could actually express his most vulnerable concern. But he can't. He can't get sloshed enough to do it either.

Hey astro - yeah i make that slip up a lot too. I see a rectangle in my head when I think of it, but my mind still whats to call it a triangle. LOL. It just sounds better, even if it's not logical!

I didn't want to assume it was the chart of the person posting, even though I believe calwes has said/hinted he (?) has a Pisces sun and moon. (?)

A few more thoughts ( can't stop a Gemini when they get to thinking I hope this doesn't scare calwes off if he comes back - that is not my intent at all I should read that other thread, huh?)... Pisces is symbolized by two fish swimming in opposite directions. This is the ongoing dilemma for Pisces - Where does my life path really lie? Being a mutable sign, Pisces often lacks the "grit" or strength of character to overcome this dilemma when it bogs him or her down. Piscean personalities often need a lot of encouragement and support for others to keep them on the right track, and if they don't get it, they sink deep within themsleves and get caught up in their own vortex of vague emotions and irrational fears. "Rescue Me" and "Gimme Shelter" should be the Piscean's theme songs.

In this particular chart, the need for positive outside influence coming from other people is compounded by the stellium. This isn't a bad thing at all - it's a blessing to Pisces. A stellium, when used properly, can give a person a lot of direction, sense of self-worth and purpose. Most stelliums need external influence to activite their positive power in the fullest, and I suspect this one would need it most specifically from another person (because of Pisces, probably more than one person, actually - Pisces is just very needy). The key is to avoid "toxic" people and stay with healthy, loving people. Pisces is highly attractive to all kinds of people, and Pisces' tendency to see the good in all makes them highly vulnerable to hanging around the wrong people. This is something that this person needs to use extra caution about.

In addition to avoiding "toxic" people, this individual needs to be careful not to exploit the good people in his life - 10th house personalities are sometimes prone to that, especially if their emotional and spiritual needs aren't being met in healthy ways.

A stellium is often thought to be more overt an influence than a mystic rectangle. Most things I've read about mystic rectangles say the struggle between the oppositions needs to be worked out and when that happens, it is an aspect of strength and endurance, but its affects will be subtle. Because the stellium in this chart includes the sun, its effects will no doubt be more apparent than the m.r. So most likely if the stellium is activited by the influence of good people, then it should help this individual work out the connflicting oppositions of the m.r. and thus reap the benefit of that aspect as well.

And lastly a comment about evasiveness: Pisces is notorious for being evasive. However, it rarely helps Pisces in the end. With a 5th house Mars (which demands openness and freedom in expression of desires) evasiveness can be self-sabotage. With a Taurus rising (which like Pisces, can be very secretive and passive-aggressive), this individual may feel overwhelmingly justified to be evasive, but Taurus is often to prone to focus stubbornly on the part of reality it wants to see and not the all the variables and possibilities when life gets tough. I would suggest to this person to look at how evasiveness may be sabotaging his own efforts to find fulfillment and direction in life.

To end on a positive note: this individual has a lot of potential to attract and keep good loving people in his life (Pisces stellium, 10th house charisma, 5th house Mars charm, Taurus rising sensiblities), which he needs. Also this person has a lot to give in return. If this isn't the case, the main task should be to work out the things preventing that from being so.

I've reached overkill, haven't I?

What is the meaning of the abbreviation m.r. I like your comments generally and most of what you say is true of me and will be helpful to me( you are the most constructive ). I find I am too evasive some times. Indeed I find that I let reality past me by sometimes or I tend to ignore it. I am quite sensitive but this is due to my lack of self confidence which I think I will gain as time go on. I am a gritty person with all my tenth house placements. I dont give up easily. I was the first person in my island to pass a professional accounting exam by distance learning. I can draw on my reserve of discipline. I believe on making my own luck . I like to make things happen .
