Are you a waterbed person? Do you sleep with 10 pillows, or just one? With sheets, a comforter, both, or none? Are your sheets tucked under the mattress when you sleep?

What kind of sheets? What color? Air mattress? Temper-pedic mattress? Hard or soft?

Futon close to the floor, or are you high off the ground? Double-wide, or cozy and small?

(and if you dare - in the bare?)

Sun - Libra
Two pillows, the one for my head is a $100 Temper-pedic for my bad neck, and the other a regular pillow longer to hug and be, say, my cuddly fantasy... to wrap my legs around...

Mattress would be Temper-pedic too if I could afford, but it's a really good quality med/firm Queen size with an extra cushioney, spill proof covering to protect mattress from my clumbsiness. The higher off the ground the better. Would sleep on the roof if I could.

CANNOT STAND waterbeds, unless it's for one activity, and one activity only... how can you sleep when you're being juggled around all the time from the slightest movement!! Aggravates me.

Jersey/100% cotton sheets in soft lavender, and I use a little of that sheet spray in lavender or coconut to lull me to sleep. A cotton comforter, no top sheets to tangle myself in, as I toss and turn a lot. CANNOT sleep with any sheets or anything tucked under mattress. Need free movement.

CANNOT sleep in nude, have to have a tight short-sleeved cotton t-shirt on, and long cotton men's underwear. (That's Victoria's secret for ya!)

Love American Style -
Venus in Virgo - I still don't have a headboard or posts for this bed, but when I'm married, will have to so there's something to tie the ropes around...

Did I forget anything?

OH! NO TV in the bedroom. It's my place away from the world. Sometimes sleep with talk radio on.

Ahhh. Bed. I love Bed.

We just bought a new queen size (of course)independant coil Sealy sleep-set, you know, the bowling ball bed?

I love a big bed, with a down duvet. Mmmm sumptious. And I like feather pillows too. Hate a pillow that is really stiff and you can't sink into it. I like the smell of freshly laundered sheets the best. I use a laundry soap that is KNOWN for it's heavenly scent.

I usually sleep in long t-shirts and regular undies. Well, tanga cut. And a bra. Gotta keep my girls under control, don't ya know, like the good Venus trine Saturn girl I am. Can't sleep nude eithor. I get chilly too easily.

And I like drapey, shimmery fabric hung on a canopy. Kind of exotic and luxerious.

Hmm. Posts are a good idea too.

I always watch t.v. in my room. I often leave the living-room to my kiddo and her freinds, or my niece. My room is my hang out and my retreat. My lair, if you will.

My bedroom is and always has been my sanctuary. On the photoshop page there is a pic of me on my bed.

It is a queen size, wood framed bed (that I should have a waterbed mattress in but I don't like waterbeds either). I have a soft queen size mattress with very, very soft jersey sheets / blue I love sleigh beds too.

In the winter I like flannel sheets. I like very soft things against my skin. I have 4 large pillows - two for looks and two that I snuggle up to. One for my head and one that I hug.

I LOVE quilts versus just big fat comforters, unless they are the soft down type.

I also spray my sheets with a light Victoria Secret Vanilla Lace spray and coconut. It helps me sleep when things smell fresh and natural.

What I wear depends on the weather and who I am with. I am usually nude with Mr. Taurus, but depending on the time of the month...LOL..I will wear a tank top and shorts / satin pajama bottoms or flannel bottoms and a long sleeve tight top in the winter.

My bed isn't too high up, the bed I will have with Mr. Taurus is much higher..which is okay, but I sleep against the wall so I have to jump over him..thank God I have long legs, but being a Sag, I have wacked the dresser with my foot doing my night time trek to the bathroom. Hmmm....I think we sleep that way so he knows if I am slinking off LOL..

Sag Sun...Aries Moon...Venus in Sag I LOVE comfort and I need a larger bed so I can sprawl out. Mr. Taurus is the same way, LOTS of comfort, super high end Egyptian cotton sheets...like the million thread count..whatever.as long as it is soft

I like it very dark, he doesn't mind the light. He SNORES...I sort of chomp..like a horse with a bit in it's mouth..LOL..

Oh yeah - he has a Virgo moon, Venus in Cancer. He likes to snuggle...needs to have at least some part of his body touching mine (I kind of like that too..hee hee)

My bed is pretty boring right now. Cheap light blue sheets. Pillows flattened like pancakes. Maybe that's why I have neck problems??????

The other day Taurus came home on his lunch break (yes, I was still sleeping), walked in the bedroom and I woke up to him saying, "What are you trying to do?!? Burn the house down?!?!"
"What?" I said.
"You burned a big hole in the blanket!!!!"
"I did??"
Sure enough, I did. Ooops. I don't remember when or how, exactly I did it. I must have woken up at one point and smoked a cigarette and fell back to sleep with it in my hand - burned the bed without realizing it and put it back out??? I don't know. The ashtray wasnt on the bed and the cigarette wasnt either. But there was a BIG burn hole through the blanket and sheets. I must have rolled over and put the fire out without even realizing it!! LOL!

I always sleep in a t-shirt and undies - and yes, a bra. I need the support for my jugs . The Taurus argues with me that wearing a bra to bed will give me breast cancer. I try and tell him that's a myth. He thinks he knows everything.

In the past I have had really extravagant, funky, pretty beds and bedding. Bright colored sheets and comforters. I have these big royal blue, decorative silk pillows with a blue bangle beaded trim that I love. I do like alot of pillows and blankets. And I must sleep on my stomach, or I cant fall asleep.

I must have total darkness and silence to sleep too.

I don't know if this is a Pisces thing, but it might be. I absolutely love sleeping a really cold room. You know, nice and cold and then you get to snuggle under the covers and it's warm and cozy. I know two other Pisceans like this too (though, heh, they're twins and were born exactly one day before me).

I like sleeping with one pillow or none. No sheets or anything unless it's cold- I like my legs to be free!

well, since we're sharing

I prefer a small bed, I know, What??
sleeping alone
white cotton sheets
3 or 4 blankets tightly tucked
feather pillow
and a cold room
my pet peeve is clean feet (everything else can be dirty)
TV on and door open, but no light through the window.
T-shirt and panties,

I have a really bad habit of eating in my sleep, I have awaken with a chicken leg on my chest and meat in my mouth. Swear to God
Just depends if I go to bed with the munchies or not.

And like 26T I've awaken with parts of my pillow burned from smoking. (disgusting habit) or holes in the sheets.

OMG lala, you sound like a caveman!! "woken up with chicken bones on your chest and meat in your hair"????? Ahhhh hahhahahah!

Philbird has a post in Astral Realms discussing her husband's sleep eating habit.
He wakes up with Hershey kisses stuck to his face. And she once woke up to a block of cheese staring her straight in the face on the pillow next to her. LOL
The thread is entitled "Anybody Wet the Bed?" I'm sure she'd love to hear about your sleep eating habits.

....ahhhh thanks for the laugh girls....

good to know I'm not the only one who burns up the sheets lala.......

HAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!

I'm cracking up so bad!!! My dog is like "...there she goes again..."

LaLa -
Your sleeping style is like a virtual nightmare to me. Just the thought of the sheets and blankets tucked in tightly gives me a panic attack. And a small bed too? Shoot me! And please please please, explain the process of how you eat in your sleep, from beginning to end. YOU'RE SCARING ME!!

26T -
I've never heard of those other two slangs. Hmmmm... nah... I like boobies, breastesis, fluffy pillows, life itself... My ex had the most beautiful... ummmmm... I would tell her that if I were to die with my face mushed between them, I'd die happy...

(I was an unsatisfied Cancer Moon baby - obviously!!)

I HATE the word "titts" - I don't know why - and I'd counter that with "knockers" cuz it sounds so femme fatale... and I don't mind if a guy says, "nice rack"...

Milk Depot? That's sick.

My ex would call her's Bodacious Ta-Ta's... she had a very Mae West way about her which I loved...

All the other names on the list are stupid. I think women are sooooo sensitive about them and that it goes back to the trauma of our training bra days, when we had to stop being tomboys and became the object of hurtful remarks. I don't think any woman has ever gotten over that...

I like a cold room too! Can't stand hot rooms.

This is a major issue for me right now.
Why?
Movers came put bed in wrong room,
Bed is massive, log bed with four posts, King size Oak and Pine handcarved
I can't move the bed by myself???
Room is very hot meant to be sewing room!

Now I realize that movers suck, and I have to figure out what to do.
I really like cold, dark rooms, no lights at all, and cotton flannel sheets, Ivory cotton sheets, with big soft down pillows, and a dark blue cotton/linen blanket when it's hot. I like lots and lots of pillows for my back, arms, legs, head, neck. I get neck and jaw problems if I don't sleep property.

Colours I like are off white and ivory, which match the drapes, and in winter, light blue and caramel flannel comforter/sheets, with a down featherbed.

Two cats sleep on my chest and lap every night, if I roll over, they dig in their claws and move with me, it's nice to wake up to their purring, though they are hard to move.

Each morning I sit with my legs above my head for 15 minutes to let the blood flow to my head and then I treadmill for 45 minutes.

Yes sleep is very important to me,
with my Neptune aspects and Moon in Cancer in the 8th. My dreams are my life, so those down pillows are sacred. I carry my big down pillow everywhere I travel.

I must travel this weekend and I'm not happy about it. I will be carrying my pillows.

Got big 'uns, do ya, 26? Do you wear an Over-the-Shoulder Boulder Holder?

Sorry, I couldn't resist. (Say it out loud, it's funnier that way.)

Any bedding preferences I may have had have been overridden by my life experiences. I can sleep anytime, anywhere, on anything. Lights on or off, silence or noise. Heck, I have fallen asleep in the middle of loud, raucous parties! But, when I can, I always prefer a heavy down pillow. You know, the kind that makes pillowfights actually dangerous? Nice and shapeable. I had one when I was a child, and I loved it dearly. Ahh, I'll never forget me old pillow. <gets all teary-eyed

Yeah, the breast trauma lives with us for sure, aj. I was a early developer (and I'm generously endowed at that- where is "boxum" in my chart??? Don't know...perhaps we should start another thread about signs and cup size ). The other girls were horrible to me. Hmm, I personally detest "jugs" as it sounds too redneck for me. I can live with "**** " but I am terribly sensitive to vuglar names for intimate body parts, be it for men or women (Virgo rising probably).

Anyhoo...my sleeping arragements are best described as a "nest." Pisces moon: I like sleeping on the floor, with a lot (5-6) of pillows (and my cats) around me. I don't like too many blankets, or to be too hot or cold. But I do need at least one light blanket to feel "secure," but I don't like tightly made bed, especially if the sheets are around my feet. I like my feet to be "free" when I sleep (this also means I can't wear socks to bed. I prefer bedsheets that are black, grey, medium blue, purple and lavender/lilac. I like sleeping where I can see the moon out my window too. I like to take my time getting up in the morning and would prefer to sleep from 3 AM to 12 PM, if my finacial needs would permit it.

Gemini Sun/Merc/Venus - I need to change my sleeping space from time to time. I have a terrible habit of cluttering my bed with books, notebooks and my guitar. I sleep on a futon on the floor, and I roll my futon up to get it out of the way, so the cats don't dirty it up and I don't have to bother making it. I'm also highly sensitive to light and noise, and I usually sleep with ear plugs. Usually I sleep in a sports bra, T-shirt and shorts. I tend to have trouble falling to sleep because my mind won't calm down even when my body's exhausted. I also roll and turn about a lot at night and can wake up in some pretty odd positions.

Aqua Mars 5th house, Libra Uranus in 1st house: I get wierded out by conventional beds. I just can't deal with them. I'm fussy about print patterns on the sheets too - I prefer solid colors, but not pink or other pastels except maybe lavender. Hate flowery or girly patterns. I like my bed space to be different from what other people have.

Virgo rising, Pluto rising: I'm neurotically private about my sleeping space in general. I don't like sleeping with other people, but I like my cats sharing my bed with me. I also tend to fall asleep on my stomach, or if I am sleeping with someone else in the room, I have move as far from them, with my back turned to them, before I can sleep (and I defintiely have to wear earplugs).

Gemini Nymph -- what you said about having to sleep as far away from someone else as possible -- could be that you're extra sensitive to other human auras.

Sun Virgo/Leo Venus

Well, I sleep with two feather-down pillows, on a moderately firm mattress, on 100% purple checkered cotton sheets. In the summer, I only have a cotton sheet, electric blanket (turned off ), and a fluffy flannel purple comforter. In the winter, I have flannel sheet, electric blanket (turned ON), wool blanket, handmade knit blanket, topped off by the same flannel comforter.

My bed itself is a twin size, on a plain metal frame (not my preference)6-10 inches off the ground. I hate sleeeping in full size or larger beds as there's too much empty space...I also have one of those "reading pillows" for the hours I spend curled up with a good book.

Of course, my bedroom sanctuary would never be complete without my surround sound stereo system, providing the necessaary aura of alternately dance beats in the daytime, and soothing music at night to lull me into drowsiness, along with a low-lighted lamp.

everlong...I also LOVE sleeping in a cold room. I put out so much heat (as does Mr. Taurus) that I need to be able to have a sheet on me and still be a bit chilled.

Bras in bed: NO WAY...I have perky ones...36 C - BUT...Once I walk through my door, I let the ladies free---is that so SAG of me or what? I just hate feeling confined and so do the girls. Bras in my sleep make me feel like I'm in a straight jacket.

Around the house I will wear a V-secret tank top with a built in bra, or a tight tank top that supports them yet lets them breathe. LOL...

Mr. T likes it because he still sees them somewhat loose and knows that he has easy access..What is it with Taurus and visuals? Not to mention he LOVES my Victoria Secret silky PJ bottoms or my thin yoga pants.

When I let the girls free, I feel like Robin Williams in that movie "Fisher King" (?) When he strips off his pants and says "Be free little man...be free!"

I will say that (But I say be free my girls...be free). LOL....

I love a cold room, too, so it's not just a Pisces thing. I can't sleep if my room is hot and stuffy, have to have the windows open otherwise I wake up with a headache.

I'm a Sag and I loooove my bedroom. It's my sanctuary - the whole ambiance thing. I love the color blue, pale, not navy or dark colors...don't know why..it's the whole ambiance thing...

Paras, I discussed my freakishly pyschic tendiecnies in another thread awhile back. In more mainstream terms, I simply simply I'm autistic or have Asperger's Syndrome (which I do), as that tends to cover the weird hypersensitivities I experience without getting into the details that might freak other people out, sine autistics typical have sensory hypersensitivies, includes to energy or "presences" of other people. While I rarely find "vibrations" from nature or animals to be jarring, I regularly find when they come from other humans, it's erodes away my nerves and can literally turn me into a figeting mess.

I said this problem sleeping near other people is due to by rising Pluto because in part it is a control issue that urges me to protect and shield (perhaps even conceal) myself from others (very Plutonian) - I feel very vulnerable, particularly in a psychic sense, when I'm asleep and "sensing" another person isn't comforting (it doesn't help that I once had reoccurring dreams of being murder by my then boyfriend when I would sleep over with him, only to shortly later have him threaten to kill me..twice).

Pluto certainly plays some effect in my psychic tendencies - it is afterall the planet ruling the "unknowable" realm of our conscious experience, and therefore prone to play havoc upon our innate psychic abilities, sometimes causing them to emerge suddenly and before the person is mature and knowledgable enough to cope effectively with them (as was my case - this is similar to what is called the Kundalini, although I've not seen any articles linking the Kundalini to Pluto influences).

In my chart Pluto's conjunct my ASC (although, it shares the 1st house with a rather powerful Uranus singleton that's part of an air grand trine), and in a T-square with my Pisces moon (7th hous, conjunct DESC) and my Gemini Sun/Merc conjunction (10th house, conjunct with Midheaven). One of the common traits of an prominant Gemini Mercury placement, like in my chart, is that it makes a person essentially an receiving antenna for all kinds of vibrations. While this is a strong position for Mercury (in Gemini it's dignified, and this is further reinforced by Virgo ASC), it is still highly influenced, and so what kind of vibrations the person is most receptive to depends on other things in the chart - in my case, the Pisces moon (argumably the most highly psychic moon placement) and a rising Virgo Pluto.

Gemini Nymph,

That is too spooky. I also have Pluto conjunct Ascendant in Virgo (within 2 degrees) and I have Uranus in Libra in the 1st house- it is my Singleton as well.

As far as sleeping with someone, I don't have too much of a problem once I trust them. It took me almost 4 months to get used to sleeping with my ex-husband. It was terrible. Before him, I always left my boyfriends houses or had them leave before I could really get any sleep.

My ex-Leo was easier to sleep with. He was also very protective and didn't like if I tried to sneak out.

My current guy - my fiance the Taurus, well, he HATES sleeping alone and has already said that if I leave in the night, it will hurt him. If I am having trouble sleeping because of his snoring, he'll take the couch because he feels it isn't right for me to leave the bed. LOL..whatever

I will have to say though, so far I have had a much easier time sleeping with him than anyone else. His presence doesn't seem to affect my dreamstate (which is very active) nor do I feel an intrusion. If anything, I have affected him. He never used to sleep more than a few hours at night, nor did he used to dream since a childhood accident (or at least he never remembered them) NOW, he not only remembers his dreams, we seem to dream of the same things. I tend to think it is my pyschic state influencing him.

He has Neptune in Sagitarrius in the 7th house. My Venus forms a tight conjunction to his Neptune and my Sun falls into his 8th house while forming a loose conjunction to that Neptune. His Jupiter in Aries also tightly conjuncts my Moon (which falls in his 12th house). His moon falls in my 12th house.

Ahhhh, MY bed. I have a hubby, but I am very selfish about the bed. He may not cross the imaginary line. He may not sleep on top of the covers. I am allowed to take up as much space as I want. I am allowed to steal his pillow. I am allowed to take as many covers as I wish. I am allowed to sleep with as many rocks, gemstones, and books as I want.
THE FITTED SHEET MUST BE PRPOERLY TUCKED IN AT ALL TIMES! His snoring in the night is a reason for kicking him. I am permitted to probe him for answers while he sleep talks.
My furry blanket IS MINE! I must have a nap between 2 and 4 everyday!
In every other aspect of our lives we have mutual respect for one another!

I should also add something funny. When I am comfortable sleeping with another, like Mr. Taurus, my Aries moon is not happy if they are not sleeping next to me. Sometimes he works midnight shifts on post (he's in the Army) so he can't be there at night, or when he is he can't fall asleep.

My last night at the house (before flying back here to pack for the move) he was out in the living room watching TV. I was getting miffed because I wanted him with me, but I didn't want to say anything. As I was falling asleep I dreamed I walked out there and said 'OKAY..enough is enough...come to bed I want you to snuggle with me...and then I slammed the bedroom door".

Now....within 5 minutes of that dream - he turned off the TV and came right to bed, jumped in and snuggled with me. I asked him what was up and he said.."I just felt like I HAD to come to bed and you wanted me to". LOL...

Weird...I never told him about the dream / projection though..it sometimes weirds him out.

(I didnt even have to say it out loud and I was in hysterics!!! [yes, I'm a 12 year old boy.............with big 'uns...] )
"over the shoulder boulder holders"??? AAahhhhhh God - that was good....

Seriously though, theyre not THAT BIG! I'm no Dolly Parton. Theyre a nice 36 C. My mom asks me where I got them - not from her.

Pidaua, I don't know why but I like the feeling of a bra. Mine are perky also, maybe that's why - because I never let 'em loose. I don't like that braless feeling - theyre heavy I tell ya!
