is there a way of getting some kind of idea or guideline i know astrology is just a guideline. But id really appreciate any comments on what type of men id be attracted to or signs at least is there another way then checking the 7th house and what if i dont have planets in the 5th?IP: Logged |

If you don't have any planets in the 5th house look at the ruler. For instance my ruler is Sag (Jupiter) My Jupiter is in the 9th house. Meaning I will most likely meet someone through travel (sag) for education/religion etc.(9th house) or something along that line. IP: Logged |

thanx so much kat the only problem is i dont know how to look for my ruler help plz and i dont know if i should put this into a topic but if i do my chart it says house at end of 6th so its interpreted in the 7th and other times it says 6th or 7th house thats for my venus id really appreciate all the help i can get thanxIP: Logged |

Where it lists the House numbers, next to that list, should be Signs. Look at the Sign next to the 5th. Then ask yourself, what Planet rules that Sign. Ex: Venus rules Libra, Uranus rules Aquarius.Then look at the other list, the one with the Planets and the Signs next to them. Find the Planet that rules your 5th, and see what House is it in and what Sign is next to that. As far as that interpretation about the House being in blah blah - just ignore that. Just look at see what House the reading is looking at. ------------------

you lost me astro junkie I did it on my chart and i just ended up back on to my venus and mars signs.I even double cheeked it with another chart,
that chart made more sense then my chart. my second question is just because your venus sign lands on a particular sign
doesn't mean you will only be attracted to that sign right????. for example my venus sign landed on taurus,
that whould mean i'm attracted to people who have venus/mars in taurus or
anyone who has mars in a earth sign right??? IP: Logged |

ben, yes, sort of. But there's many factors in synastry that can spell attraction. Venus/Mars aspects are certainly good to have, but sun, moon, ascendant, as well as 5th, 7th & 8th house rulers can play pretty significant roles in your love life too. Venus is one indicator of what your taste in women or men is like, but your 7th house describes your partner, even if it's empty. I'll use my 7th as an example of how it's ruler factors in to my love life. I have an empty 7th house, but the sign on the cusp (beginning of that house) is Gemini. Gemini is ruled by Mercury. I have Mercury conj Sun, and I tend toward Mercury-Sun ruled guys. My ex was a Virgo, with a Leo moon, and my current is a Virgo with Leo rising, and a loaded 3rd house (Gemini/Mercury's natural house)You see? (by the way, Mercury rules 2 signs, Gemini and Virgo, for those who are really green at this) The active role that Venus play is more to do with what draws others to you...that means, if you have Venus in Taurus, earthy/Venus(Ruler of Taurus)/busy 2nd house people will probably pick you up on their attraction radar. Neptune to Venus aspects in Composite are what I look for, that tells you if both are on the same wavelength. Even with massive physical attraction, hard Neptune aspects can spell self deception or emotional exhaustion.Natasha
