Hi all,
I was just wondering, because the ascendant is supposed to show the world your 'front' right? Because I'm a Sag sun but Capriocorn ascendant...however, I'm not sure that I fit the description of a Cappie. I'm petite, blonde, clear green eyes.
I do have a moon in leo and both venus and mars in libra- would that effect how I look too?

from what i've learned, it's the ascendant. for me, mine is aries. i thought about it right now after reading your post. and it's somewhat correct. i also think it mixes with your sun-sign cuz i have really small feet...go figure.... but hmm...for y ou...do you have a business look to you?

My Ascendant is Gemini, but I look Libra. I have quite a bit of Libra in my chart though.

There's "looks" and then there's also inflections and mannerisms. I see things in almost the whole planetary soup, mostly the inner planets, (Asc, Sun thru Mars). For example, if a woman has a Venus in Aries, I may pick up on an Aries vibe from her, which would add to her "looks", etc.

I find it varies. I have Pluto rising, and I have the stereotypical "intense" gaze and brow of a Plutonian peep (I get mistakeningly accused of giving people the "Evil Eye" alot LOL). I have Virgo ASC, and I do have roundish eyes that appear "observant." Although I have a lot of air signs in my chart, I seem to possess many physical traits associated with Pisces, which is my moon: short, medium build, bad posture, short legs and arms, well-formed but small and board feets and hands, wavy hair, blue eyes. Go fig.

Hi all,
thanks for your replies. I practically live in jeans (the Sag part of me I think!). I don't think i have a 'business' look as such but I like to look neat (but jazz up jeans with cool ethnic jewelery). My friend is Aries with Leo Asc and she has a very leonine apperance and I was thinking that I don't have a tyical cappie apperance but I do look studious I guess...

It's something to think about..
Archer- so you have venus and mars in libra- how do you think it effects you?

aspects to your ascendant indicates what you look like, the other signs in your planets usually indicate what you want to look like or try to look like.

I have Neptune opposed to Asc (gem), Venus square, Sun trine, Pluto trine, and Saturn sextile

What do you think about that?

Flattery will get you nowhere Libra

Saturn sextile ascendant usually indicates a pretty skinny body, neptune to ascendant usually brings big eyes. And sun trine ascendant usually brings people with a dark complextion or "tanned" Pluto to ascendant is usually a goodlooking aspect espcially with men!!

Well... i'm not skinny. I was when I was a little kid though. I'm uuhh...errmm.. voluptuous. I have the ability to get really tan (Cherokee Indian), but usually I'm a white girl (Irish). My eyes aren't very big either... I think they're medium.

It's nice to know if I were a man, I'd be a hottie! LOL

So there we have it again, Libras are rarely skinny (well the women aren't) But I'm suprised that your eyes aren't big..

I think I look more like my sun (gemini) and moon (capricorn) sign than anything else. I'm very petite, 5', very skinny too with small features. I'm also a quarter Asian, so I have the typical Asian woman build. I have Libra on the ascendant and my friends tell me I look very feminine - in my face and facial expressions, and I agree. I also look young for my age, people usually see me and think I'm a high school student. And finally I have Pluto close to the ascendant. My skin has always been light and my hair is naturally black. Tweezers are my best friend bcause my eyebrows are naturally very thick, though not in a strong, defined Plutonian way, they're more like caterpillars. Now that I pluck them though, they have this defined, strong look that I've been told is sexy. Other than that, I don't think I look very Plutonian.

BY the way, I think Pluto in my 1st might explain why I lean towards a strong, almost goth look - I like dressing in black or strong colors, no pastels. Black makes me feel sexy. And I love lingerie-type clothes, stilletos and black leather, anything that's very dark and sexy. Sometimes if I have some extra time in the morning, I'll smoke up my eyes for fun.
