*grabs fountain pen and scented paper, squints, grabs glasses, props them on the tip of her nose, leans forward in her chair, eager to learn, licks tip of her finger to turn a page and gently bites on the end of her pen* (Sorry, I started doing the naughty librarian scene...... .)This site would be good for others who think they 'know' Scorpios, yet still cringe when they are mentioned. Interesting stuff - while there was a lot of the typical "horny vengeful secretive" stuff, there was also a lot of insightful info - you're right Pixie, maybe such info would mitigate the fear and loathing that comes to people's minds when they hear, "I'm a Scorpio"...

Pixel -I've never seen so much info on the signs in one place like that, and the site design is really hard on the eyes. Which part would you say is most insightful, and not so cliche'd? I'd be interested to zero in on that. And how do you feel about::: "...Where Libra makes the first efforts toward co-operation, Scorpio seeks to take advantage of its relationships with others..." Can you clarify that? The wording was rather terse, but like I said, I didn't read the entire Scorpio section. Thanks. (PS: Don't forget to remind Heart-shaped that you're still my girl). I wonder why you wonder.. she certainly had alot to say about their feminine/masculine position and the 'snake eating its own tail'... vibration of eight... likening it to zero..... it is sprinkled all over her books.. so you need not wonder.. just read. What do you feel about Scorpios? IP: Logged |

I like Scorpios...in fact, I get on very well with all of them that I know. No offence, but I understand, also from experience, that they can be exasperatingly over-sensitive. I know a Scorpio who is so sensitive, that she has a habit of getting suspicious over remarks that were meant in all innocence. As I've understood, this is a Scorpio trait?IP: Logged |

See - this is why I think Bugs Bunny is a Scorpio. They don't like the feeling someone is putting something over on them. Scorpio's senstitivity can be used for good or ill. One extreme or the other. All or nothing. (Not dual like Pisces, or Gemini's - and not indecisive like Libra's).IP: Logged |

I guess that sensitivity is different for everyone. When someone makes a biting sarcastic comment I get really offended but I never show it. People think that because I'm laid back and like to joke around, I won't be offended by much of anything. Only the remarks about my personality or my body are the ones that bother me.IP: Logged |

I wouldn't call it oversensitive per se, although that is how the reaction often appears, I think AJ had it right, in that we're suspicious and perhaps a bit proud in our views of our intellect or peircing-the-veil abilities, so the thought that someone's getting over on us can **** us off. When I hear oversensitive I think Cancer, not Scorp - I also think that often hypersensitivity can come from self esteem issues as opposed to the Sun sign. I think a even a Gemini can appear overly sensitive if their self esteem isn't the best. Although I do find that Scorps aren't necessarily the best at laughing at themselves, not publicly anyway. It's true, when you get a Scorp to laugh at themselves, you know you're on your way to bonding. Maybe as for being sensitive, it's not really the level of sensitivity each of us are, because WE ALL ARE. It's what we do with it. Do we react, or do we respond? Do we blurt out our discomfort right away? Do we hold it in? Do we use it only to serve ourself? Or to reach out to the world and help others? Do we wallow? Or do we share? Etc. Know what I mean? Yes, and also, while the water signs are known for sensitivity...I also believe that sensitive people live through their emotions. Their emotions tell them what to see. Also, sensitivity is usually coupled with cool imagination.IP: Logged |
