OK, so today the moon's in the last of Cancer, and the a lot of the other planets are in either Cancer or Virgo. Maybe it's because I have Virgo ASC and a Pisces moon, but I'm having a fairly good day today. Granted, nothing spectacular has happened, like winning the lottery or anything. It's just I've been in a good mood, I breezed through my morning workout, had a lovely chat with my best pal over the phone (despite having to inform her that her hero, Julia Childs, passed away), went out shopping and found the stuff I needed with little searching, and not even the bastardly heat is getting to me. I'm just cruising along, doing my thing. No traffic jams, no 3 dozen annoying screaming babies behind me while waiting in line at the store (like on Monday - ugh!), even my cat didn't rudely wake me up at 5 AM (2 hours before I need to be up) as he normally does. I haven't really noticed anything "retro-Mercury-ish" going since Monday, and aside from Tuesday being a little painful (had to be - it was my bro's b-day, and he insists on making it painful for everyone; it's a tradition), it's been an alright week for me. I figured these transits would be tough on me, with all my air signs, but it just doesn't seem like that. It's more like I've been able to be more focused, fairly productive, and relatively calm and relaxed. I even feel a bit mischevious now that I've gotten all my "to do" stuff done early. I thought Cancer moons were suppose to make us behave. Go fig. How's everyone else doing?

I'm having a great day -
relaxed, up-beat, generally in a good mood.

May be TMI, but me and me beau even had some wonderful afternoon delight.
Can't beat that with a stick.

Well, you probably *could* beat it with a stick, but that might ruin the mood...unless you're a kinky Gemini like me. <<<<< see, I told you I was feeling mischevious! So what gives? Does this retro Mercury turn Virgo is a free-wheeler and Cancer into a happy-go-lucky gal or something? Or are we just getting wamred up for the moon to go into Leo? LOL.

The funny thing about Water Mooners is when we have a fairly breezy day, we really have to stop and appreciate it!! That's how much our moods change, and when it's to the point where you just feel OK - it's the greatest thing.

I have to say, although all this hurricane is going on around me - I too have had a breezy day. Things going smoothly, not letting any of the rude hysterical people out there bug me today. I've got Moon in Cancer, Venus & Pluto Conj in Virgo.

And in my usual Libra fashion, when I saw that those transits were coming up, aside from the cheeky analogies I made with the hurricane event, I also wondered about Mr. L. But too chicken to really say what I'm feeling, other than to ask, what should I be feeling, in another thread.

I was hoping this these placements would help draw him out more. Not sure yet. One thing I have to keep reminding myself, partly because of his Mars Cancer, he'll make himself known to me in one big UNEXPECTED swoop. And then you're wondering again - then swoop unexpectedly again... hee hee...

I don't understand tranists very well because the "standard" explanations that astrologers offer never seem to happen to me. Maybe it's just because of the activity in my chart bends and deflects transit infleunces in unusual ways. Like for example, Uranus is currently conjunct my Pisces moon in the 7th house, and I haven't being going around hysterical or with weird "elertric" feelings, nor have I been attracting hystercal women (unless my mom counts). However, I feel strangely optimistic about Jupiter *finally* moving into my 1st house next month. Somehow I think this will open up some opportunities (or just plain good luck) that's been missing in my life for too long.

Anyhow, it's been a good day and it's far from over, so I'm going to go do something fun now.

So far so good. It's 3:20 PM. Been pretty mellow. Watched Malabu's Most Wanted. Pretty dumb... I think I'll go for a swim.

Just a chill day. I call that a good day!

PS
AJ, were your ears burning yesterday? We were ogling your hottness in the LL photoshop thread

The "hotiness" thing is something even the modern man has no idea what to do with exactly...

Thank you very much for that though! It's kind of cool to not look my age.
