Interesting - I know an Aqua guy a few days older than you. He has a rough time with that Virgo Mars, plus a Pisces moon - he's a shy boy.

What's bad about having Mars in Virgo?

HHHMMMMMMMMMM? Who said bad?
Maybe the opposition between the Moon and Mars?

Virgo, being ruled by Mercury, is a rather sensitive, nonconfrontational and nervous placement for Mars, the planet that rules over aggression, sex drive and the ego. This is a difficult placement, and there's just no getting around that. Virgo, a mutable earth sign, is a cautious, critical, over-thinking, timid and receptive sign, whereas Mars' native sign is Aries, a cardinal fire sign, which can be best summed up as "act now, think later." Mars' energies and infleunce tend to want to be direct, confrontational and forceful, but Virgo itself is anything but. It can be like Virgo is working against Mars at every turn. Consequently, unless the Virgo Mars native learns to express aggressive and ego energies in a healthy way, he/she are prone to being too passive-aggressive or even overly repressed, emotionally and/or sexually.

It's been my experience as a musician and having been around a lot of other creative people, that Virgo Mars is very common among artistic/creative types, possibly because art and music offer non-direct but healthy ways of expressing pent-up feelings and aggression. That's some good news. Now the bad news: it's has also been my experience that people with Virgo Mars are unusually suspectible to self-esteem problems and psycho-sexual issues as well as alcoholism and substance abuse (especially stimulants, like speed or cocaine) - this seem more often the case when the person grew up in a dysfunctional environment. Virgo Mars needs a lot of structure and sense of security during childhood; without it, the person runs the risk of developing anxiety or mood disorders that can lead to self-destructive attitudes and behaviors like I listed above.

On the brighter side, someone with healthy outlets for their Mars energies can often cope with the Virgo position, even if it takes so time from them to learn to live of it. Positively, Virgo can help keep the Mars energies focused and therefore more productive which channeled toward constructive (as opposed to self-destructive) pursuits. Therefore, if one learns to live with a Virgo Mars, they can be very accomplished in their pursuits, has a Virgo Mars is capable of giving them both the focus and drive to achieve.

I see... I have no destructive self habits other than biting my nails (can't shake it!), and am usually very nervous about something i can't put my finger on. and i tend to find that whenever i want to ACT i can be very impulsive (Leo moon, Sag rising), but the Virgo/Mars thing makes me worry endlessly about what's going to happen, so i sometimes get stuck in limbo and do absolutely nothing at all, making me lazy alot of times.

like sometimes i'll want to go out, but start worrying about what i'm gonna wear, how i'm gonna look, are people gonna make fun of me, what am i gonna do when i get there, what if it rains, what if i get hungry; should i eat now, or will i grab something on the way or when i come back, but what if i get too hungry and feel sick, what if i get robbed, what if i meet a girl - will i need mints? what if i miss an important phone call, what if, what if, what if! like a neverending strategy going on in my head. but i'm a filmmaker so this is invaluable because it assures i don't miss anything, but can give me stomach problems... and since i have venus in pisces, i'm ultra sensitive, so my worrisome thoughts affect my body in bad ways like stomach aches, back aches, etc
