My new solar return shows Pluto (on the IC) opposing MC & squaring Jupiter/ASC, which seem pretty scary. Can anyone tell me what this means and if there's anything I can do about it? Astrologer Bob Marks thinks that traveling to another location on the birthday or the half birthday might help (changes some sign's house positions). Thanks in advance!

Pluto represents metamorphosis. The fourth house is where everything begins, so we have a new beginning.....a new direction in life, with new goals.
This can feel pretty compulsive if you don't like change. However, you should know that it is related to a pre-incarnational commitment and you are being told that "the time is now."
The easiest way to deal with this is through "willingness." Be willing to be led, to be shown, to be taught. Pluto only hurts when you resist. This is like destiny and whatever changes it represents will happen, with or without your cooperation. Still, you can trust that the plan is right for you and that, in the end, all changes are for the better.

i dunno what solar return is but pluto is passing through my IC too squaring my asc and conjunct my sun, moon and jupiter. thanks for bringing up the topic.

Thanks, Rev. Alice! It's reassuring to hear the change will be good as I heard that Pluto is associated with death or something traumatic. Anyway, I do want to change my job soon. And I'm a Leo with Virgo Asc, & Cancer moon.
