Hi I'm new here.  I'm a Virgo and I need some input regarding my upcoming solar return next month. I've had a very crappy year...to say the least. Ugh.  And I was wondering if there is something - ANYTHING - in my solar return chart that would indicate something positive in my life for the upcoming year. My Solar Return Planets: SUN - Virgo (29.39)

many virgos that i have known say that they did not have a good year. i wonder how can that be inspite of jupiter in their sign.------------------

One would think that Jupiter would help. Transiting Jupiter recently conjuncted my Uranus and Pluto in the 7th House, which is supposed to be a good thing...but other than winning some modest sums at casinos, I've yet to see any dramatic results otherwise. And within a WEEK of it crossing my 8th-House cusp, I got my heart broken by someone who is a very dear friend of mine, and whose friendship and love I may never get back. As Jupiter is supposedly a beneficial planet, as it just crossed from my 7th House of relationships, I fail to see the upside in all of this. 
Since Jupiter will be conjuncting my natal Sun almost exact on my birthday, I'm hoping that there will FINALLY be some positive results from it all. *crosses fingers* IP: Logged |

Maybe when Pluto entered your love sector, changes needed to be made because he is not your destined partner, but you wouldn't know it if he were in your sight.

Thanks for the insight, Pixelpixie. Actually Pluto is currently transiting my natal 10th House (and has been doing so since last year). It's my natal Pluto that resides in my natal 7th House, and transiting Jupiter recently conjuncted it there. While Pluto has been moving through my 10th House I lost my father and maternal grandparents, all within six months...not to mention being extremely sick and getting heartbroken during this time too. Jupiter rules my natal 10th and 11th House, and is natally in my 5th House. But Jupiter rules my Sagittarian South Node, so perhaps it isn't such a kind planet for me after all...? IP: Logged |

(using a 3-degree orb): Sun Conjunct Mars
Sun Conjunct Jupiter
Moon Trine Midheaven
Mercury Square Pluto
Mercury Trine North Node
Mercury Sextile South Node
Venus Trine Pluto
Venus Conjunct Ascendant
Mars Conjunct Jupiter
Mars Sextile Saturn
Uranus Sextile North Node
Uranus Trine South Node
Neptune Opposite Ascendant
And the Solar Return planet placements in the SR Houses:
Sun in the 2nd House
Moon in the 5th House
Mercury in the 2nd House
Venus in the 1st House
Mars in the 2nd House
Jupiter in the 2nd House
Saturn in the 12th House
Uranus in the 7th House
Neptune in the 6th House
Pluto in the 5th House
Chiron in the 6th House
North Node in the 9th House
