Hi,

Are their certain parent-child combinations that are better depending on zodiac signs? If so, is the logic the same as for other relatinships? Finally, by comparing teh charts of the parents & the child/children are good conclusions drawn out such as areas of weakness/conflicts? I'm an Archer parent of a Gemini girl and a Virgo boy and am always amazed at how true they are to their Suns. Any more info. on how to best blend our very different personalities would be great. Smiles.

We've talked about this before, and will continue to, but we always realize it's not always important. Depends on how well you know yourself, but that's besides the point. The child is going to have a soul connection to you already.

Hi, Diera...I've looked into family astrology myself, and I've found some pretty cool common links that seemed to tie families together. I've come to the conclusion that the universal family planners know exactly what they're doing when they plunk people together in the same family. You have to look beyond just the suns sign, and look especially at moon signs, risings signs and 7th houses. Actually the 4th and 10th houses are significant as well.

You, your daughter, and your son are all mutable signs. All you need is a Pisces in the mix, and you've got a mutable cross...a very powerful interplay of mutable energy.

Also, check the 7th houses of your kids. I bet they both trigger each other's 7th houses somehow. Our siblings are the first "one on one" relationships we have (aside from the mother-child bond), so its typical to find personal planets falling in each other's 7th houses, or opposing asc/desc placements. (for ex. I have Saggie rising, Gemini descending, and my older sister has Gemini rising, Saggie descending. Her Gemini moon also falls in my 7th house. I also have a Gemini sister who's sun falls in my 7th. She has Aqua rising, and my sun falls in her 7th. (my aqua moon falls in her 1st house)
You see? We're all connecting each other's 7th and 1st houses in my family. My parents have the Saggie/gemini energy going on as well, with Taurus mixed in there too.

Great, thanks you guys. The kids do have a lot of similarities in their charts. They get along really well, and are really close. I love that their Sun sign isn't the same as mine, it's much more fun that way. It's really cool thinking it was destined to be this way.
