Anyone ever got an Aqua to do something they didn't want to?
I recently designed and constructed a garden for a garden show. Earlier in the year Mr Aqua made it perfectly clear he wanted NOTHING to do with it...I roped him in anyway (with a bit of charm and gentle suggestion) to do the hard works and DIY. He is not an expert DIY-er but more practical than me, and the structure we made looked great, even though we almost killed each other working out how to put it together. He complained every step of the way, and said he would murder me next time I did something like that - or go abroad for a month. The whole project was one heck of a lot of organisation, but boy, oh boy, did I enjoy it.
Especially since I got a Gold Medal and prize for best in my section, which I was really chuffed about! (Big smile!). Though I am aware that he contributed a proportionate chunk, and am taking him out for a meal on our anniversary to say thank you. Because I think that doing something like that, that he ABSOLUTELY did not want to do, was pretty commendable. I won't not give credit where credit's due.
His family all came and helped to take everything away as well, which I found really touching, they were all just so willing and helpful. And I think I got some good solid business contacts as well. It's funny, but I think that enthusiasm breeds enthusiasm. People seem to be only too willing to help someone who is motivated, has a strong idea of what they want to do, and can offer something in return (i.e. promotion). I've learned that from an Aries customer of ours who runs a hairdressers. She gives her whole family employment, and in return they help run the place for her. That's one reason why us Arians make such good leaders...we have strong visionary abilities! And we absolutely thrive on making ideas reality. "No problem," we say. "Whatever it takes - we will DO it." I've realized, setting up my new business and doing what I am doing now - I really LOVE moving heaven and earth to get a specific thing DONE!!!
Things are also looking up for Mr Aqua. He has finally landed some work experience with a law firm, so, if all goes to plan, he should be on a training contract within a few months. So perhaps the Uranus in Pisces (his 2nd house) predictions weren't far off the mark...
