I am attempting to read into this chart. Of course I am a novice. I have a lot of basics but it seems there is a lot of conflicting information and I'm not sure how to incorporate that!!

For instance... I'm getting conflicting information with the Sun in Leo wanting to be the center of attention and the Virgo moon wants to compete with that doesn't it? Wouldn't Virgo be more on the reserved and subordinate side? Where should I look to see which one overpowers the other?

I've found through the study of my own chart that with time you begin to recognize in yourself the influences of your Sun and Moon. Even though books, websites, etc., will tell you specifically that the Sun is your individuality, will, purpose, personality, etc. and that the Moon represents your "soul", your emotional nature, pattern of emotional response, intuitive, subconscious behavior, needs for security, etc., it is often difficult to seperate these things into such distinct categories in real life. You learn to notice how your Sun and Moon influence you specifically, and what all these keywords mean to you. In my opinion, the best solution to your question is introspection. Study yourself, your behaviour, your emotional responses, etc. and compare them to what you know about Leo and Virgo. I know this is just part of your question, but I'm just tackling that bit. Otherwise, here's a nice little paragraph I found on the net that might be helpful. It's always good to read things where the Sun and Moon have been integrated into one analysis, rather than reading Sun and Moon interpreations seperately. Hope this helps a little, the others here can give you their personal interpretations of your chart. Ta~

sun and mars in leo in 9th house.... lots of energy for travel and outdoor activity.
