Yes, those are the charts I mean. Are there many different charts? All the information on the site overwhelmed me. What about Chiron and all the different linkages? If someone understands magi astrology, an in-depth explanation would be great.IP: Logged |

It took me a really long time to figure out and then apply their methods to one relationship I was looking at. Although their "Lessons" do promote their software, you can find hints in them. You have to re-read it several times like me, I guess. Some of it is just based on the same old influences of Squares & Trines, etc., but some is unique. But if you want to see your Declinations, and you don't mind figuring this stuff out manually, you can go to astro.com. Pull up the Wheel you want to look at, and click on CLICK TO GET ADDITIONAL TABLES in upper-righthand. The easiest way to match up the Declinations in your head is to look at the degrees, then match up that number to any other placements within about a one degree orb. Once in a while someone mentions Magi astrology here, and a couple of people actually got their software, but were not that impressed with it. Maybe someone else will post about their stuff. ------------------ ... it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness IP: Logged |

Even though I don't subscribe to any of their software, I am a HUGE believer in Magi Astrology. (Although I do have one of their books that I recommend: 'Magi Astrology The Key To Success In Love and Money') It has explained a LOT of things in my life and filled in the missing spaces concerning my relationships with other people that using traditional astrology techniques failed to show. Using the declinations were especially enlightening and helpful. And I totally believe everything they say about Saturn aspecting Chiron being a sign of heartbreak as I have experienced it myself. The last two times that transiting Saturn aspected my Chiron, I got my heart broken by men I incidentally had 'Heartbreak' synastry aspects with, an aspect with another that can supposedly doom a relationship, even if there are other postive linkages. And both times it happened, it was on the very last days of the transit. And it happened two years apart, so it's not like I make a habit of getting my heart broken every day. ...So after experiencing it for myself, I am a complete convert to Magi Astrology. I'm open to all kinds of astrology too of course and try to explore all avenues and not throw out the baby with the bathwater. Magi Astrology may not be for everyone, but for me personally, it makes a lot of sense.

Sasssy -I'm not kidding, I spent HOURS trying to figure out this one relationship, but manually in my head, and everything did turn out like it said. A lot of that is based on statistics maybe, I don't know. They look at a bunch of successful couples and see what they all have in common, as well as unsuccessful. IP: Logged |

Hey Everyone! Sorry about the 'Testing'...new here and couldn't remember my password...oops!The Magi Software is pretty cool...my friend has it and I have studied many, many couples, famous and otherwise....AND I have found their theories to be extremely accurate!!! Chiron does play a HUGE role in the readings...and yes, AstroJunkie-you can get a lot of 'hints' if you re-read and read again the information on their website....it does take a bit to get the hang of it though!! Frustrations and struggles show up easily, just as in traditional astrology....However, I really like the 'Cinderella' aspects because it seems to show whether the relationship has enough depth to lean towards marriage or not. Sometimes, it is interesting when a couple does not have any Cinderella aspects and instead, has all Sexual aspects....so it shows great sex with nothing more...it always seems to work that way...I like it when a couple has both-then you feel that it has a lot going for them! I would be interested if anyone else has tested the Magi ideas... IP: Logged |

Wow, AJ/Gloria, we sure do think and operate a lot alike. I just read your take on Magi Astrology and how you selectively and judiciously read for applicable info without getting sucked into buying the software and then used the astro.com site for the declinations. We must both be very frugal-- and resourceful! Moses S. has another take on Chiron, having also studied the Magi S. material. What do you think after reading below? “Chiron is the other planet, besides Uranus, that specifically rules astrology. Therefore Virgo, in addition to Aquarius, is the sign that specifically rules astrology, since Chiron rules Virgo. Of course many would disagree there, but I can definitlely back that one up. (…) “ “Yes, I agree. And people who have strongly placed Chirons (Chiron angular, Chiron conjunct the Sun or Moon, etc.) tend to be unusually open to astrological guidance, and other forms of intuitive guidance, of course.” http://www.astrologyforthesoul.com

Oh - we've had many conversations here regarding the possible connections between Chiron and Virgo. I've concluded they are much too different, and that their interpretations weren't meant to fit them together. I have to think back on what's been said, but for one, Chiron will rule over a larger population because it moves MUCH slower than Mercury (which Rules Virgo)...I equate the influence of Virgo to be very eager to help others, be of service, heal oneself as well as others. Chiron is that wound which returns to your life, and is quite different because the challenge is in how you tend to lose faith. IP: Logged | |
