On a dark evening in the mid of the month of Virgo. It was the night of Saturn, corresponding to a Mars vibration.

I lit a candle, apple scented if you may, as the power was outt and i needed some light.

I looked at the pale yellow flame and gazed into it, trying to find a way to get in touch with my higher s-elf.

During this gaze i noticed that the flame had an outer as well as an inner aura. The outer was of a translucent blue/green hue, while the inner resembled a black circle within a blue shell.

Gazing further on i saw that the very tip of the flame, right on top, was indeed black in color.

Since i dont wear watches or have time pieces around my room, i cant tell for how long i gazed bedazzled by the flame.

Then i began closing my eyelids, not my eyes, just my eyelids.

I saw it. "It" was a bright orange glow surrounded by a blue shell... it never went away... i turned to the left... it was there... i turned to the right... there it was again.

However, each time i faced towards the same direction of the flame, i felt a strong golden glow upon me. It was as if i was in the middle of a forest fire..that powerful a glow.

I opened my eyes to notice that the very same flame, now glowed with a deep magnificent amber hue. Almost with a divine edge to it.

Then, when i looked at other objects, like the potted bamboo, the cellphone, the table... that same orange glow in the blue shell appeared. It was following me again with my eyes open.

I headed towards my full length mirror and i saw the orange glow within me. Could it have been my soul? Could it have been the divine astral s-elf within?
Everything has a soul, nothin is inanimate, perhaps thats what i was meant to understand with this daliance with the flame.

I also observed how air could manipulate the flame. If we look at our zodiac signs, notice how its the Libra, that civilizes the wild fiery Aries... How its Aquarius, that can pull Leo off its imperious regime, and how its Gemini, that eludes the archer.

Similarly if you blow gently at the flame, the flame begins to dance to a rhythm perhaps known only to isis and her beloved osiris.
However if you blow hard, it flickers. Nevertheless it puts up a fight, the flames try desperately to catch onto the wick, preventing the air to win.
Perhaps thats why you see such courage fighting spirits within the fire signs.

I then took a piece of paper, (symbolizing earth), and i lit the tip and i watched how the fire caught on with its seductive tentacles and tried to dominate the steadfast earth.
Like the goat being seduced and dominated under the lion's paw, or the virgin being swift off her feet by the ram, or the bull falling prey to the archer.

However, i used air to save the earth, by blowing out the fire. Half the paper was saved, the other half burnt into a large black ash.

As i tried to burn the Ash, i noticed that nomatter how fire tried, it couldnt reburn the earth. Perhaps signifying the earths healing power, the torch that once burnt the earth, can never burn it again. Similarly, untill a person comes to terms with himself and past and moves on with life with no regrets or sorrow, then the flames of his past will have no effect on him and he will be happy and successful without the past baggage and burden.

Hi Cassandra,

About you seeing orane glow can be explained by persistence of vision. It can happen any time to any people when they stare continuosly at an bright object.

I enjoyed reading your analogy about air sign taming fire sign

What about water? It puts that fire right out, I wish it didn't.

Ah water... glad you bought it up.

Ever wonder why water and earth are known to be solely feminine in nature, where as fire and air are always masculine?

Its because water and earth nuture us like a mother.

Think about it.

The earth supports us all - birds, animals, humans, reptiles, amphibians...so on and so forth... all our plant and vegetation is also a gift to us from the divine mother earth.
The world was supposed to survive on fruit, as fruits are the gift mother earth bestows upon us all, the sweet fruit that contains all of natures goodness in them. But alas we kill mother earths children (the animals) and hence our chances of immortal bliss are shunned away.
Now whats earth without her daughter water. The earth provides water a home in the form of rivers, lakes, ponds and seas, as well as underground layers ... water provides mother earths other children with energy and nutrition... the plants do need the water, and the animals and mamals need it to cleanse and drink from...as well as provides a home to all the ones who cannot live above on the earth, like the sweet little fishies... unfortunately we corrupt daughter water with all our industrial solvents as well as toxic wastes we dump into her, making her unfit to drink. Water which was our divine gift, now has to be bought in bottles mixed with certain minerals. Why???

Lets not forget air and fire now.

Brother fire provides the nurturing heat so that life can be bearable for us to survive, providing us the light to see, the core of mother earth needs her son fire to keep the earth from freezing over.
And how can fire exist without father air, upon which the flame is burnt. As well as father air provides us all the fresh air we need to survive, and the plants of mother earth rejuvinate it throughout... alas we all polute it with our cigarettes, automobiles, and industrial chimneys.

SO in a way... the elements are one happy family, Mother Earth, Father Air, Brother Fire and Sister Earth.

Think about it
