A while ago there was a post about the location of the planet that rules the sign on the cusp of the 7th house. For example Aries is on the cusp of my 7th house. Mars is the ruler of Aries. Mars is in the 12th house in my chart. It seems all the people I've ever felt a connection to have appeared in my dreams. But it is never made a reality, there's always a barrier and my mars is just too weak to break it. The dream/emotion is strong but still can only vibe around through my subconscious mind. The love, be it real or an illusion, always stays hidden in my 12th house. Does that make sense? And does anyone else have similar stories about the 7th house cusp planet? IP: Logged |

Hey Scorpbaby -That's an excellent breakdown of your experience, by the way. Yeah, that makes sense. I guess, I suppose the next step would be, to be better at figuring out if it is a "real" love or an illusion - in your waking life, that is. And of course, any mind exercises which help you go inside yourself. IP: Logged |

Yea sometimes it is hard for me to sort through the emotions that my dreams produce. My dreams are just always so vivid and strong. And in situations with love, I always seem to have my first encounter with someone I like, in my dreams. The times my dreams have actually manifested, I usually feel very confident that it is not an illusion. In one of my psychology classes we studied dreams. It was fascinating to hear that most of our reactions in waking life come from mostly subconscious stimulation, not only conscious! Some say we are always dreaming because our subconscious is always internalizing life around us. IP: Logged |

Yeah, I suscribe to that by default, with strong dreamy influences in my chart. I've done a little research on dreaming. Don't know how much you are into the subject, but I read a great book on it. It doesn't leave anything out, in terms of approach. So you get the psychological, with the metaphysical, with everyday logic, etc.IP: Logged |

Hello there!!!I am interpreting a birth chart for someone I know and when I saw this topic, I thought, bingo!!! Scorpbaby, maybe you can help me, as he seems to have some astrological similarities with you (sun in Scorpio, Libra ascendant)… And some external input would also be very welcomed… This person has Aries in the cusp of the 7th house and Mars is in Sagittarius very close to the cusp of the 3rd house. Jupiter is in the 7th house. The rulers are in each others houses, which should reinforce their influence. The 7th house is supposed to rule marriage, business partners and clients, best friends and peers, steady relationships, bitter enemies in the open, dealing with the public, contracts, diplomacy, opponents, grandparents and what you think you lack. Then the sign should reflect how you deal with those areas. Aries is brave, noble, assertive, passionate, blind towards the effect on others, pushy, self-centred, selfish, willing to reveal himself, original, impulsive and fiercely competitive. In those areas, he would think “Me first” and has to be the boss, a bit of a tyrant. But then… What is the influence of Jupiter? Jupiter shows where you are lucky and merciful, how and when you trust, things you enjoy, the ways you are kind, how you have fun and your sense of humour… I’m confused!!! How do you relate the blindness and the me-first-attitude, the egocentrism and so on from Aries with the kindness, mercifulness and fun of Jupiter? This person is actually a bit blind of his partners needs and does tend to be me-me-me in relationships without realising it… How does it fit with the Jupiter meaning? Thank you!!! IP: Logged |

Hey Steelrose, hmm I don't know if I can be of much help. I'm really a novice, and not all that confident on this particular topic. I'm usually the one asking tons of questions! lol I found it really confusing to piece it all together in my chart. I'm kinda a scatter brain, it was a struggle to backtrack and figure out all the various aspects. There's a thread somewhere about the significance of the sign on the 7th house cusp, and it's rulers placement. I can't find it though. I'm sure that would help you a little. And everyone else here has been of great help to me as well! This was really the first thing in my chart I figured out on my own. It was a personal issue I had been focusing on so that made it a little easier. One day it just clicked where it all made sense in my chart. The answer was right in front of me! IP: Logged |

A bit of a silly question, but I can't tell what sign is on the cusp of the 7th. Would it be the same as my DC? IP: Logged |
