I think the coolest of the cool was Dean Martin who was a Gemini with Moon in Sag (full Moon birth) I've never heard anyone say anything bad about him including his ex-partner Jerry Lewis and his ex-wife Jeanne. A man of honor, the only contract he had between himself and his manager was a handshake that lasted untill he died. His style and personality was so natural that he never rehearsed(sp??) He had his own show for years in the 60's He had a funny sense of humor and was a man other men respected. If you ever get a chance watch him.IP: Logged |

during all his troubles bill clinton (leo) was cool. so is aamir khan (pisces), indian film star. if u get to see a movie called dil chahta hai...do watch it. but the coolest one is yet to be decided. i'm sure it one of the fire signs with an introverted ascendant. ------------------

I really like Eastern Indian movies - I think "Salam Bombay" is one of my favorites. And I think "Saathiya" is good too.What is "Dil Chahta Hai" about? IP: Logged |

hi a.j.salaam bombay might be in english but sathiya was purely hindi. how did u manage to watch hindi movie? do u understand hindi? Dil chahta hai is about three college friends having a good time together and then splitting up to go their ways in life. aamri khan here plays the cool dude. he is a truely versatile pisces. the movie has so much of urban influence in it characters that it failed to creat any impact on the rural india but had a superb revierw in bombay (now mumbai) and delhi. increasing number of people were having their haristyle like aamri khan. give me ur email id and i'll send u his pic. ------------------

As for the Hindi movies, or what I see they now term "Bollywood" - sometimes I'll go to the foreign films section, where everything has subtitles. One of the things I noticed about Hindi films is the BEAUTIFUL colors they use, even if it's just an ordinary scene, the colors always have a magical quality.

I don't think that this is a Hindu movie but I really like the movie Kama Sutra it is a really, really, really good movie------------------

One sounds familiar, but no. It's probably in the Foreign section with subtitles, so I look for the box. Thanks.Did you ever see, "Time of the Gypsies"? Directed by Emir Kusturica. When they say you have to watch it twice, they are right. There's two overwhelming scripts playing simultaneously. The ambiance, and the storyline. He won a Cannes for it. Filmed in Sarajevo. Glorious ambiance. Guy plays a character who is cool in a disasterously geeky way.

The first persons that came to mind were woman, intelligent, had a stylish look, loyal, hardworking, caring. Sag's. And see that others in here agree. Scorpio sun, Sag moon and rising. The other, cap rising, Sag. sun, moon in gemini. Very cool.

Another ultracool person I've met was poet Gwendolyn Brooks. She was amazing: articulate, gracious, funny, insightful, inspiring, encouraging. I met her at a poetry worksop at my college by in the early 1990s and talked with her one on one for a little while. I think about that meeting often.
