Hey everyone? I just wanted to ask if it was possible to have a conjunction, but have it in different signs. This website said that this guy's mars/libra conjuncts my saturn, but my saturn is in scorpio (orb: 06° 38'). We have venus/saturn conjunction, but they are in the same sign. Then there was another program that said that his venus/scorpio conjuncts my pluto/libra (orb 06° 14) or something like that.I thought that conjunctions can only happen when they are in the same sign. Can they be in different signs? What's the difference? Thanks in advance! IP: Logged |

Yep, it's called an "out of sign" or "dissociate" conjunction.Out-of-Sign Aspect which, though within orb, is not within the bounds of the aspecting sign. For example, an out-of-sign conjunction of Mars and Venus, when Mars is in 28° Libra and Venus is in 2° Scorpio is much weaker than if Mars were at 7° Scorpio, even though the orb of aspect would still be 5°. Similarly, an out-of-sign square between Sun at 3° Aries and Saturn at 29° Gemini, is much less significant than an in-sign square with Saturn at 7° Cancer. So, how's DC? You a native or a transplant? Me <--Born in FFx, lived in Alexandria IP: Logged |

thankyou. DC is fine, everything is good on this end. I'm a native. So, when you have "out of sign" conjunctions, do you still read these as conjunctions when reading articles on synastry aspects, or do you disregard. For example, there are some sites that have synastry aspects interpretations, would I read the part about his mars "conjuncting" my sun, or disregard since it is out of sign?IP: Logged |

That's where it gets sticky. Some take synestery out of signs into acct., some don't.Others with more experience in the matter'll have to chime in on that one. IP: Logged | |
