My father passed away 2 and a half years ago and I never thought to check if he was ever told what time he was born (though I doubt it, his father was unknown and his mother died when he was 3 ). His birth certificate does not state the time of birth. It is really important to me to do his chart, but I can't determine the ascendant. I was wondering if anyone out there has ideas on how to do this. I'm trying to think about how he was socially, his appearance, etc., but it's not like the rising sign is the only one that reigns those areas of life. Also, it's not like I'm choosing between 2 possibilities, there are 12 after all. He was very charming, graceful, extrememly well-spoken, had a beautiful voice, in speaking and singing. He was a scorpio sun with a leo moon. Mercury in Sag (though I don't really understand that one). Any help would be very appreciated...........what should I look at. Could something in his chart give me clues to the answer?EDIT: I can't believe I wrote "astrologists" I mean astrologers, naturally...jeez..I'm embarassed. IP: Logged |

It's OK - I didn't know anything about it until I got here. It's usually done with an astrologist you trust, each one will have a different idea of what they need to ask you. So there is no definitive "list", but rather based on discretionary decisions of what constitutes "important moments" in client's life.So it MAY include something like "date you married" or "date you divorced" - but in no way am I saying it's limited to those questions, or that they would be included at all. Have you tried to contact the county in which he was born?? or the hospital? and request a birth cert with time? The reason I ask is that myself and 2 bros were born in one county and our copies of our birth certs show time, however, my sister who was born in a neighboring county doesn't show time, they said she needs to send a formal request (or some form they issue) and have her signature notarized or appear in person. All you may need to do is send a cert. copy of his death certificate??? I think they should just have all this accessible for us online, it sure would make our lives easier!!!! lol I would love to get my hands on my parents birth certs too. Good luck. IP: Logged |
