Okay, many of you asked what the "Game For Astrological Minds" was all about, where I got the personality style descriptions, etc., etc.. It's from a psychological profile called "The Personality Self-Portrait", which was developed by John Oldham and Lois Morris, working backward from the DSM-IV, the diagnostic manual that is the backbone of modern psychiatry. The profile produces a line graph of your personality, showing how highly you score in each of 14 different categories:- Vigilant
- Solitary
- Idiosyncratic
- Adventurous
- Mercurial
- Dramatic
- Self-confident
- Sensitive
- Devoted
- Conscientious
- Leisurely
- Aggressive
- Self-Sacrificing
- Serious
Here is what a completed test looks like:
I hope to eventually gather the test results from 5,000 people and compare them to those people's Sun, Moon, and Rising signs. In this way I hope to prove (or disprove, hahaha) the validity of astrology in a scientific manner.
So, who wants to try it? I'll e-mail the results back to anyone who takes the test. If you really want to help out, get as many people as you can to take it, also.
Then we'll see how good our answers to the "Game For Astrological Minds" strings really are!

1. I tend to spend more time on my work than do some of my colleagues or coworkers, since I’m a perfectionist and like things to be done right.
