Well for at least half a year now I have had the feeling something is going to happen on Nov. 2nd. It's not positive either. Is there anything in the skies that might indicate that being a bad day? (yes, I know it's election day)

No, I don't astro junkie, was'up? I don't know if you read my post a while back about the origins of Bert. I had a college professor that was a roommate of Jim Henson's. He was the inspiration for Bert. Really funny because he looked and talked like Bert!

Well - You're gonna both freak out and love this, I just know it. Especially since you knew the original guy ...It all started out with this poster of Bin Landen back just after 911, hundreds in the middle east were hailing Bin Laden holding up picket signs. Hundreds of them. Somehow, Bert is in this poster OK? - This poster that hundreds in the middle east are FOR REAL using in support of Bin Laden.  Did you spot Bert just to the right? How did that happen, right? There's a whole BUNCH to this "conspiracy" of sorts, but it's one of those really fun ones. A Web site was built completely devoted to an entire "Bert is Evil" conspiracy, and despite warnings from Sesame Street, Inc., they elaborated and made it hilarious. The guy finally took the site down, after escalating threats from the Sesame Street. This was the original Web site where they kept the "conspiracy" going, where you can scroll down until you see references to "Bert is Evil" - that will give you the background on all the national coverage it got ::: www.fractalcow.com/index2.html A few fans "mirrored" the site, and you can still see what was on the original. You can see dozens of pieces evidence that "Bert is Evil" like this photo of him at Woodstock -  Or Bert at Cydonia on Mars -  Even Bert on the Jerry Springer Show -

I know - and then I took it further myself in my personal life - you can just imagine, right? Like with an ex who didn't mind photographing himself if you know what I mean. Got Bert peeking out from behind it, and emailed it back to him. There's no way I'd show you because it's too personal ... Nah! ... I couldn't ... I shouldn't really ... HA! HA! BAD EVIL BERT!!!! Geez! I do love a Faux pas!
I can't believe I'm going to say this..
Even as a child I had my reservations about Bert... something was off. With Ernie too! I switched to The Electric Co.
When my son was old enough to watch S.S. I kept having thoughts that Bert was a pedifile, really! I also got the impression both Bert and Ernie were a couple. We switched to Barney instead. God, he nearly killed me! Just too freakin' happy, and everywhere. My son was addicted and I swear, I nearly lost it! Barney, Barney, Barney! To top it off, my ex mother-in-law encouraged his love of Barney.
I still have nightmares! I bet there is a Barney bsahing site somewhere! I think I'll look. Keep you posted!
