Topic: interest in cars - influences?

What would you say would create, if anything, a love of automobiles, either asthetically or to repair/fix up/modify? I love collecting models of them, and I love modified import cars. My Taurus boyfriend's whole career and leisure time is centered around working on cars, and he too loves imports and owns quite a few Hondas. He also has a lot of reading material on them. My Gemini bro collects models as well but he'd rather just play car-related videogames. What do you think? Sometimes I think this might be a taurus thing, maybe looking at it from a pleasure aspect and being somewhat materialistic. I haven't really looked into charts of people who race and whatnot though. gemini, scorpio and sags are mad about fast suff like cars and planes. 2 of my taurus friends are crazy about bikes.------------------

hmmmm, well I have a 13 yr old Taurus son who is big into racing sprint-karts which go 90-100 miles per hour, very mechanically inclined and is alway tinkering, with go-peds etc. Has loved cars for a very long time, and very much into them. I keep meaning to go talk to this guy who has a new Ferrari, and offer to pay him to take my son for a ride on his b-day or something..................gawd, it would so make his day/life, hahahahaIP: Logged |

i dont really care bout which car im in...i just know i love going fast..and i absolutely love car racing games and bumper cars...i never laugh so much as on the bumper cars....nuts!!...no signs in taurus though....IP: Logged |

Believe it or not, the other night there was this guy letting his friend drive his DeLorean!! His friend was so excited and flustered to be able to drive it once around the parking lot. Star struck, he was. Kind of funny ...I think Sag's like fast cars too (don't I know it). OK - I conducted a non-scientific study of race car drivers. First, I have to bring up Paul Newman, because he's in it for the sport. He's Aquarius with Pisces Moon, Mars in Aries. I bring that up also because from the 6 race care drivers I first thought of, most have Aquarius, Pisces or Aries influences. Either in Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars, Jupiter or Saturn. Mario Andretti -

Oh! I have to add, my boyfriend, the Taurus whose life is fixing up cars and loves Hondas, also has Moon Libra and Sag rising. I read last night that Sag's do tend to like cars . A DeLorean!! Oh my god I love those. My bf found one for sale (unfortunately, neither of us had the money at the time), and we were both totally psyched to at least be able to sit in a real one!! Haha! From the data this is what I got (I included drivers at the top as well):
Aries - 7
Taurus - 7
Gemini - 9
Cancer - 7
Leo - 5
Virgo - 7
Libra - 4
Scorpio - 7
Saggitarius - 4
Capricorn - 5
Aquarius - 3
Pisces - 9 So Gemini and Pisces had the highest out of that list, Aquarius, Libra and Sag are at the bottom, with everyone else somewhere in between. Also, my Taurus boyfriend seems to have rubbed off on his bro (or maybe the other way around), as his older Cancerian bro collects and modifies cars as well but he doesn't make it as much a part of his life. Sag Mars here, likes fast things, trains, cars, anything, can't stand it slow.Yes I like a nice car, and get irritated when I can't work on mine, I love mechanical objects, it's the power, watching them move, figuring out how they operate plus the respect you get! I'm a racer! I adore fast cars. Owning a powerful, fast (yet safe) car is absolutely essential for my well-bing LOL and I attribute it very much to the way in which i *feel* when driving. perhaps it would be my several 3rd house placements or my MC/jupiter in picses, but I love driving, commuting adn driving fast up and around winding roads is the most inspiring. Driving for me and others I suppose, is a form of fantasy or escape as well as a way of clearing my head. Of course, a fast car just wouldn't be the same without our favorite music right? And how about the drum that looks like a steering wheel or the guitar that looks liek a gear shift? Anyway, some of my best resolutions are hatched while driving. I am my most energetic, thoughtful, reflective, sad, tormented behind the wheel. But... i don't watch car-racing, i'm not into collecting or repairing or shuffling around car shows. And I don't worship my car or keep it particularly clean. HHmmmmm... Astro, you make things so fun! where do you get all the birthdays? Just google it? IP: Logged |
