Hi!
Several times lately I have heard people saying that Moon in Gemini makes things "very complicated"...Do you have an idea about what they mean? Is it true that Moon in Gemini makes things more difficult? If so, why it is so?
The "funny" thing is that this morning I just realised that I have liked (so far I know) 2 guys with Moon in Gemini!Hmmmm... So I guess I got more curious about it...
And what about somebody with their Moon in Gemini in the 7th House?
Thank you in advance!

I have Gem Rising, and have been accused of making things more complicated than necessary.

I've always sort of attributed it to my Libra Sun though... unable to make decisions in a timely manner.

I think what it is, Moon in Gemini is very changeable ... especially with their emotions.

"Moon in Gemini

with the key phrase: Gather impressions.

Childhood friendships and sibling relationships have had a tremendous formative effect on your life, as do the first experiences in school. Painful recollections connected with communication problems, and a feeling of being misunderstood will have left their mark on you. Part of the maturing process for you is connected with being more selective about what you let yourself get distracted by.

However, curiosity and interest are the food of life to you, and you can find meaning in small things other people might think of as insignificant. You are more an ideas person, than an emotional being, and you are most comfortable in partnerships which are not too emotionally demanding, and which allow you time to pursue your mental and social interests."

AND

"MOON IN GEMINI

The sign Gemini indicates a bright mental outlook and a sense of emotional adaptability. The Moon in this sign will make the whole outlook of the mind seem brighter. The native will demonstrate good insight in decisions on matters dealing with the family or travel.

The Moon here signifies considerable creative energy. There will be a peculiar blending of personal independence with a strong degree of sympathy for others.

The native will dislike routine yet he will have an uncanny skill to work with complex puzzling matters. He is constantly seeking variety, spice and change. Mental telepathy is part of his endowment of Moon in the sign Gemini. You should caution him to employ diplomacy however, and not speak about subjects harmful to others.

There is a definite capacity to operate through conventional channels and concurrently a desire to test new avenues for progress, thus, appeasing the natural desire for change. You must warn your client that there will be times when a mental imbalance can occur as a result of emotional tension. If he is not careful here the end result will be a harmful internal antagonism."

AND

"7th House Moon

with the key phrase: Tuning in to others

Most of your emotional life revolves around your partnership. You form a strong bond at an early age when you are still emotionally immature. You are strongly motivated by security and stability in your relationships, and will be attracted to a partner who can provide this. Men in particular have a tendency to choose a mother figure. Women tend to take on the role of mother in partnerships.

Despite the need for stability, marital life will fluctuate wildly. These emotional ups-and-downs are a result of your over sensitivity to the emotional state of your partner. You have difficulty distinguishing between what you feel and what your partner feels. Your concern for the partner's feelings paradoxically evokes exaggerated reactions from him or her. Learn to tune in to what it is you really feel, and allow your partner to have his or her moods without constantly imagining they have something to do with your actions. When you integrate your emotions in this way, your partner will be grateful to be able to express emotions in peace without always having to have consideration for how you will react."

So, AJ... what's my problem? is it the Gemini Rising, or the Libra Sun that makes people think I'm so difficult?

Gemini Moons can read thoughts, facial expressions, mannerisms, they are good at picking up everything.

A Gemini Moon can read meaning to anything at all, even make too much out of the smallest detail, that is why they are so good at building and organizing especially with computers or mechanical objects, all the small working parts.

They are very detached from their emotions and have no problem with being sympathetic and giving advice at the same time, that can be seen as very critical and may not be appreciated at first. Gemini moons find they like a lot of friends who can appreciate the wit, the intelligence, the quickness of mind.

I never try to pin one down so I always end up not making the plans.

My best friend is a Leo with Gem Moon and Virgo Rising. She is sure into business of making everything clear, easy and understood. Witty, bright, superb communicator and can read EVERYONE like an open book. Some people (well - mostly men, usually Scorpios) have considered all that sudden bright exposure rather difficult to take.

So good with communication skills, changeable emotions, always doing many things at the same time, right? Yeah, it sounds familiar to me... I guess those people meant that Moon in Gemini makes things "difficult" because that person can feel different things in a short period of time, I guess... I guess they may feel a bit confused or make other people confused because of their changeable emotions...
Interesting...

sthenri, i can identify with this moon. perhaps because
my own moon is virgo in 3rd. it plays out similarly such as noticing subtlties sensing energy, mimicking behaviour well. perhaps this is also true of picses, but manifests differently based on the element.

are there any picses moons out there who can also relate?

dreamybecca, where is your own sun/moon/venus. perhaps that would tell us why you seem drawn to these types. do you have strong fixed signs in your astro?

My mom's Gem with Gem moon. I'm a Gem with Pisces moon. We're both changeable and easily influenced, but she more than I by far. My mood is easily influenced, especially by bad vibes from others, but not my thoughts, principles, or attitudes about certain things. I don't change my mind easily or without reasoning it out - thanks to my Aqua Mars. But my mom..lol...we're talking about someone who refused to vote for JFK after she saw Jackie Kennedy on TV, because she didn't like her speech mannerism.

I can pick up gestures, osture and phrases from people easily too. But I don't morph into whomever I hang around like some Gemimians and Pisceans do. That's kind of creepy if you ask me.

No idea why I have felt attracted to them, and I don't know if other boys I liked in the past had their moon in Gemini, but I was surprised that this last 2 had it in Gemini...
Oh, my Sun is in Aries, my Ascendant,Venus & Mercury in Pisces, my Moon in Sagittarius, And Mars in Aries...

eek, up there ^, i spelled "pisces" wrong TWICE!

GN, im laughing because i easily pick up gestures, mostly words, teh way in which i annunciate.

My best friend is a male gemini w/merc, venus, mars in gem and we crack ourselves up because we pick up phrases from one another. he picks up my psycho-babble, and uses words like "projecting" and i pick up his one-liners. he is dating someone in the record biz, representing rap artists. his gf says things like..i need to "roll on out" or "i can't hang with that"..so he uses these words, points it out when doing so, and then yep, the next day i'm regurgitating. we do this all day long.
we are indeed creepy

dreamybecca, seems pretty evident to me why you identify with these moon-types.

I myself have a Gemini Moon. (Virgo sun and Virgo Rising)

Theres a song fragment that I can relate to from The Verve's Bittersweet Symphony.

~No change,
I can't change I can't change, I can't change
But I'm here in my mould, I am here in my mould
But I'm a million different people from one day to the next
I can't change my mould
No, no, no, no, no ~

So yeah, I feel so many things at once it seems I can be a different person to whom I'm around from time to time.

Im also incredibly idealistic though. (moon in 9th).

And the having Gem moon and it being "complicated":

There are so many variations of complexity. And levels of depth.

I have a tendency to say "I think" more than I feel, and with it I talk out everything.

And if its not talked out, the consequences just bottle themselves up.

But then again, I have quite a bit of Mercury in my chart. (sun, moon, rising, and merc ruled by Mercury)

Hey, it is true they pick up/mimic expressions from other people! My friend uses things that I say very often, which surprised me at first...me thinking he may like me...yeah, keep on dreaming...it is just his nature!
And now he is under another girl's spell, so...
And it is true that many times just saying hi, he knows if I am feeling ok, or not. But that also happens the onther way around, I can tell the way he feels just by saying hi.
And he is very creative and likes to talk about anything!

But I don't know really why I may be attracted to him because of his moon...maybe because I am Aries Sun with Sagittarius Moon??

Can they be a little bit manipulative? Not with a bad intention, just without realising?

dreamybecca, i'm not sure hun.. but i love your inquisitive nature. my experience with aries is that YOU already have your truth and are simply wanting feedback to re-affirm your feelings. you will listen to advice (reluctantly) then process and use what suits YOU. so whatever one says to you.. you already know what you know/

my impression of gem moon is not manipulative. manipulative qualities are unconscious in my opinion and are a defensive response on the accuser. he could simply have a beautiful power about the soul and you view this as danger.

I think the women Gemini Mooners are easier because I love their sense of adventure, and there is an innocence to them, they way their approach is always fresh.

Lovely,
I think we all have our own truth, because we all see reality in a different and personal way, and our personal experiences and circumstances can also condition the reality we see...
I do listen to advice or what other people want to tell me and they always make meditate, but at the same time, many times I cannot follow other people's advice and so, because I have my own nature and my own principles, and sometimes what people tell me may go against my principles...
And well, because I am Aries sun, I guess I am a little bit stubborn and sometimes I am a bit like an explorer, and I find myself forced to work out everything on my own. Sad but true...
By the way, most of people don't believe I am Aries sun...They say I don't behave like one I don't know...
