The Scorpio stare doesn't bother me at all, I almost didn't notice they do it. I generally feel really comfortable around Scorpios, and let my guard down so I guess I just always figure if they want to stare deep into my soul they can. However, my best friend who is a Scorpio doesn't understand why people find her so intimidating. Now I know! I didn't know others found the stare scary or intense. IP: Logged
virgotaurustaurus unregistered	posted October 28, 2004 03:16 AM and since we're talking about stares from other signs...my boyfriend stares..he's a Taurus. Sometimes I don't understand why he's staring, but it has a warm, not-scary feel to it. It's almost comforting in a way. Even when he's mad - oh, when he is mad he really stares, and then he'll look away from you, usually downward. It's so weird! I can't quite figure it out yet. IP: Logged
Gemini Nymph unregistered	posted October 28, 2004 12:41 PM I'm sooooo totally biased: I prefer either the lively sparkle of a Gemini eye or a daydreamy, soft wateryness of a Pisces eye. I know a guy who has Libra Sun, Gem moon and Pisces rising and he has a sort of combination Gem/Pis eyes - he's utterly adoreable and he's eyes are just captivating. He one of those who can just smile with his eyes. I also like Virgo eyes too - they're very similar to Pisces eyes - soft, shy, observant, but not as daydreamy. Here's a list of "eye types" for the different signs, plus colors that often are associated with them: Aries appears: determined, forward-looking, eager color: hazel or green Taurus appears: warm, patient, trusting colors: brown Gemini appears: lively, inquisitive, capricious colors: blue or blue-green Cancer appears: caring, sympathetic, emotive colors: grey or blue-grey Leo appears: confident, playful, enthusiastic colors: brown or hazel (sometimes with a golden sheen) Virgo appears: shy, observant, knowing colors: grey or hazel Libra appears: charming, inviting, friendly colors: green, blue or blue-green Scorpio appears: intense, piercing, powerful colors: grey or brown (dark, almost black) Sagittarius appears: excited, jovial, amused colors: hazel (often appearing green in certain light) Capricorn appears: analytical, severe, pondering colors: brown Aquarius appears: intelligent, removed/distracted, investigative colors: blue (sometimes intense or almost violet) or hazel (that appears blueish in certain light) Pisces appears: otherworldly, daydreamy, empathetic colors: blue or blue-grey I personally find the appearences to be largely correct, but the colors are hit or miss (I guess genetics have to play a role too ). I think also you have more success matching these eye types if you take into account ASC adn moon signs too. For example, I grey-blue eyes that are somewhere between Virgo and Pisces in appearence, and I have Virgo ASC with Pisces moon on my DESC. :thumbups: IP: Logged

Using your chart, Gemini Nymph and looking at the people who are closest to me and myself...the appearances I think are right on! I also think looking at the moon and asc are a good thing as the colors haven't generally matched the people I know just by sun sign... Anyway! I'm a Virgo and from what others have told me I definitely have that appearance, and I have hazel eyes . I'll have to ask my friends if I have any of the Taurus appearances. my Taurus bf has Moon in Libra and Sag Asc. He has both the appearances of the taurus and libra and has the color of libra eyes (they change from green to blue according to his shirt, so cool!). Makes me want to go see if his moon is really strong in his chart! My Scorpio friend also has Moon in Libra and Virgo Asc. She has very intense Scorpio appearances and a little bit of Virgo. I don't remember right off but she seems to have more of a Virgo hazel. That chart is neat! It makes me wonder if I can figure out people's moon or asc by looking at their eyes mwhahaha IP: Logged
whalewasp78 unregistered	posted October 28, 2004 01:08 PM Yes, scorpio eyes definitely have an x-ray quality about them. Linda has some of the best descriptions of them. Myself being attracted to Scorpio eyes, I've noticed some have this haunted look, especially with blue eyes. Others a keen, true gaze. Then I've noticed the ones that have this malicious look about them. Gives me chills thinking of some I've run across so far. It's either staring into the eyes of an eagle, owl, or snake, to sum it up. Later! IP: Logged

They are and can be dreamy like a lil puppy dog. Also I have expeirenced that Scorpio stare and it was something, I am slightly shy about things sometimes so if you stare at me to long and have nothing to say it will scare me a lil bit. My guy who is an Aquarius has a stare that will make you shake. It is almost like he can see to my soul. I almost always lose my composure when he does that to me. I'm a Libra/Gem Asc./Cancer Moon I've got blueish-greyish-with some specks of green in the middle eyes I think they call that hazel... but I just call 'em blue I've always wished my eyes were brown though. lioneye68 unregistered	posted October 28, 2004 01:35 PM Well, my s/o is a Virgo, but his sun is conjunct pluto with a 0.42 orb, and let me tell you, that boy can STARE. And it's a loaded stare, not just a gaze. He use to make me feel so squirmy when he would stare at me 'that' way...it would make my heart race, and I'd feel really self-conscious. It was compelling and repelling at the same time. One thing is for certain, it made FEEL stuff...and made me need to DO something about it. A.) Get away as fast as possible, or B.) Find some quiet corner and jump his sexy bones. ASAP. But, now it doesn't effect me that way so much. I just stare back, and it becomes an ongoing staring contest, which usually ends when one of us cracks up, or says "WHAT?!" to the other. I now know that the 'STARE' isn't really loaded with sexual provocation like I use to think, it's really just more of a "I'm trying to figure you out"...or "I have something that I'm not sure I should say." kind of thing with my s/o. But he also has an angry Taurus stare. Anyone familiar with this? Looks like a steady volcano about to erupt. Sometimes it's quite chilling! Carissa P.S. I also love the shy Virgo stare. 26taurus unregistered	posted October 28, 2004 03:35 PM LOL Carissa, My mom was very familiar with the 'angry taurus stare' when I was a child too. (And some are familiar with it now. ) There are a few pics of me as a kid when I was angry and, whoa! The looks I used to give....if looks could kill....mine would bury someone alive. When I was born, I guess the nurses couldnt stop exclaiming about my eyes. Huge dark brown eyes that would just stare at them, I wouldnt cry like the other babies just stare at you. Still now, I get complimented most on my bigbig eyes. The Taureans I know all have really pretty ones. I think it has to do with Aqua in the first too. I remember reading something about Aquarius eyes being 'electric'. There seems to be an electricity that comes through them. IP: Logged
