My first love was a Libran. What a flirt! He had a girl friend at the time but was still hopelessly flirting with me. So I taught him a lesson I don't think he will ever forget.  I have a Libran girl friend. She is very sweet and loving and very very tolerant. I love her dearly. She was there to help me when noone else was. IP: Logged |

I agree librans are sweet, ive never had a problem with them, i think they're the most pleasant and diplomatic people. they know the right things to say, and they're always friendly... they're very intelligent too.

i also have a fondness for libra. my first love was a libra sun, virgo venus, with cap mars his cap mars was right on top of my virgo venus/moon conjuct his own venus. not bad. his sun also was conjuct my mercury.i still think of him and how great our connection (sex) was and what a kind soul he has. i, unfortunately broke his heart into a million bits. he followed me around and called me for a good year. we speak about once a year. what was odd, is that we were married on the same day, same place (he on kauii, me on maui) and we honeymooned at the same resort on kauii the SAME days!!! we had no clue we were both there, and never bumped into one another. I hadn't spoken with him prior to our weddings for 3 years! anyway, sorry for the story. i found it odd though. IP: Logged |

ditto on loving the libras! no matter if they are boys or girls. they're both great! you libras always cheer me up. for some reason i always want to take care of you. maybe it has something to do with that 6-8 pattern between us?  i just always feel like i need to organize your sometimes scatterbrained lives and make everything ok. i just seem to turn into a slave at the smile. love ya although i'm aware of how much you walk all over me. I usually hit it off really well with Libras, but they don't make me hugsy - sorry. Only Pisces do that for me. Perhaps this is due to having an emotionally distant Libra father that just re-enforce my Venus-conjunct-Saturn in Gem tendency to resist emotional displays and outward affectionate gestures. sorry to poop on your libra loving parade....but I really think they are sooo fake...and manupulative! all i see is this need to always say the thing people want to hear.....i was working wih a libra and ask him his opinion on something...he goes...'i dunno, whatever you think'...duh!! also my libra boyfriend would never say anything negative to me...but woul always laugh whenever anything negative was said to me by somebody else....never stood up for me to his friends even though they were wrong in their comments towards me...when questioned he just said...'i wanted to keep the peace'....but have some substance for gawdsakes...  the thing is most people never really like people for who they are...but the way they make them feel....think about it. a lot of libras I know are never true to themselves...thats why they suffer from rage.....they just do things for the sake of how it looks....trust me, i know....

moonbaby, "keeping peace" is powerful. non-infringement upon others is powerful. pushing down ones own ego and reliquishing control, also powerful. the person uncomfortable and resenting this type of person is frustrated because they can't make good decisions on thier own. otherwise you would just happily take the lead. libra and rage? well that all depends. my libra NEVER raged or became passive agressive. at his he would drink himself silly or smoke pot, but he was a happy guy doing so. edited to add* moonbaby, i didn't see the part about your boyfriend not defending you. to me this seems to be an age related issue? how old was he at the time, 19/20's?

i do think youre right...cos whenever i try and suppress my feelings, i just get ill...its easier not tooo, i guess.....
my boyf was 26....true, everyone loved him...people would make comments like' you are the nicest person ive met in 5 years...' and so on...
but the whole agreeing with people when u know they speak untruths is just not,i guess its just not me....its like have your own opinions, mann ...be true to yourself..

moonbaby ~ i understand what you are saying about libras. my libra ex acted the same way - unable to give an opinion, make a decision, stand up for me!, ect. dispite all of these irrating things, he was geniunely one of the kindest people i know. always willing to take reponsibility for his actions and always believing in the best of people. like i said earlier, i don't know why, but i just let them walk all over me. maybe it's because i know at heart they are a kind soul who would never want to hurt anyone. that is hard to find. oh puppyblew...i was on night shift...for real...it is hard to find people like that...and i guess it is not a bad bad trait to have.... and whenever youre with them, its like your somewhere else in the world...
they are genuinely loving people..... i guess its not such a bad thing to wanna be liked by everyone...
i guess its also a personal thing cos i really take to people of strong characters....i like blunt speakers puppy, im not trying to be difficult but if you check out all my posts its like I really wanna understand them cos I do have a lot of 'em in my life...
why is it that they are so kind despite the fact that they are considered to be a fairly unemotional sign...

A Libra Sun is easily colored by other influences in their Chart. For example, a Libra guy with a Mars in Cancer can certainly have passive aggressive days, but any imbalance is immediately felt, and Libra begins the balancing act.If you think ALL Libra's just want to say what you want to hear, it's not always because they are being fake. It has more to do with that analogy, (I think Linda said this) - Libra's being good at Socratic forms of speech. That is to say, if they don't like you but are still nice to you, it's a form of verbal kung fu. It means, they see the truth, but maybe you can't handle the truth ... IP: Logged |

LOL to all Librans here - but in real life, I find them VERY egocentric - they are also prone to talking round and round in circles, and, as their astrological description suggests, chronically avoiding making decisions. I have had spectacular ego clashes with Libran guys, and issues with people with Moon in Libra, who seem determined to keep the peace at all costs, when it would be better to bring issues out in the open and confront them. I want discussion and controversy, bringing cards to the table, they want harmony and prefer to be laid back.
I don't know why this should be, I have a bundle of Air in my chart: Mars and Saturn in Gemini, and Uranus and Pluto in Libra. Maybe someone could enlighten me?? IP: Logged |
