makes me a "scaredy cat"(funny considering my sun is in leo) when it comes to men...makes me shy, reserved and afraid especially when I meet a new guy that I'm interested in.Not sure what to do but I hate this aspect of pices moon, ascendant and jupiter in my chart. IP: Logged |

How old are you, if you don't mind me asking? (You can generalize if you wish LOL). I have Pisces moon, and I was very shy as a child, but I've grown bolder in age. A little too bold, some might think. Pices tends ot need time to learn how to live with its sensitivities and overcome its anxieties. Don't worry - especially with a fire Sun I doubt this isn't something you can learn to work with. Pisces and Leo combos like this can be quite bold. Actually, Pisces ASC is normally very outgoing, lively, and social, but in a softer, less grabbing-the-spotlight way than say a Leo or Gem ASC. If you having trouble like this, I'd say it's your moon and possibly afflicting aspects to it. What is your Mars? That would also play a big part in coping with any hesitancy from your moon. Hey, I know how you feel!! My Sun is in Aries, my Moon in Sagittarius, my Mars in Aries but my Ascendant, Venus and Mercury are in Pisces, and I tend to be quite reserved, kinda "serious"(responsible?), very giving, and things like that...sometimes it is not very nice The funny thing is that when I was a child, I was REALLY out-going, REALLY talkative, very spontaneous, crazy... Now I am more like a little creature hidding in my shell, not always, but often IP: Logged |

Finance Chick -Reminds me of my Saturn in Capricorn duking it out with my flakier parts. Saturn is like, "TIME TO WAKE UP !! WE'VE GOT THINGS TO DO !!!" Flaky side is like, "JUST CHILL OUT !!!" IP: Logged |

I should have mentioned this before, but meditation is really good for anyone with strong Pisces influence. Espeically transcendental meditation, where you focus on one word and clear your mind of all other thoughts. Doing this for about 20 minutes in the morning and night has been shown to help people lower their anxiety levels and blood pressure, and help them have more conscious control over their instinctive fight-or-flight response, like how you feel around an attractive guy. It really does work - it's worth investigating. IP: Logged |

Yes, that's true. Meditation gets you in touch with everything, and makes you see your part, your accomplishments, notice how important you.Very good for Pisces influence, that and organized thinking. Please don't ever say you hate yourself.

I have a Pisces Moon...and I kind of live in a shell. I was much more social when I was younger. Anyway...I think guys or MEN!!! responded to that Piscean emotional quality. I would just let the signals go out...and would usually attract a man that would take the initiative. It would definitely have to FEEL RIGHT! Sincerity and compatability were the keys, I think. Good luck!IP: Logged |

The first time I took a serious meditation class, I kept falling asleep after a few minutes, and I'd hear them yell my name, "You're not supposed to fall asleep !!!"It's usually easy for me to get into a meditative state instantaneously. IP: Logged |

hey there finance chick, you're not alone - i have a pisces singleton sun and sometimes i just dislike that watery sensitivity. i'm not terribly romantic or dreamy like a typical piscean. i have too many other things going on in my chart. but boy oh boy, am i ever sensitive. i can't be around people who bring me down or suck all my energy out of me (energy vampires, i call them). anyways, sometimes i have to remind myself that a piscean is often sensitive because THEY LET THEMSELVES BE. we are extremely receptive & easily influenced, therefore, like a cancer, somewhat self-protective, causing us to be shy and introverted. it's good to get out of your shell somewhat from time to time. meditation IS always good. i like it. i try to do it every day. i had this one astral projection tape from when i was a teenager i used to like to use...i don't know where that tape is now, but in one part it had this suggestive voice saying to relax your limbs and make them heavy...i think i remember something about cotton candy. or gauze. if you can start a numb, gauzy like feeling in your outer extremities then you'll really start to relax, and a lucid, very meditative state will follow where you can focus on issues important to you. (i say this because it's really hard for me; i have to work really hard to get this relaxed and open...maybe it's that way for you, too.) c IP: Logged |

I too have serious issues with the ton of pisces in my chart (sun, moon, mercury, venus ,saturn in pisces) I have researched so much chart to get a 'feel good effect' and to motivate my self. i dont know how i wa s successful ademicallly. May be my mercury sextile jupiter making me mentally restless, intellectually thirsty. IP: Logged |

Oh that is something to have that heavy influence in Pisces. I have a Pisces sun and that is enough I have a heavy Aquarius influence so that helps me a lil. But you poor thing would not be surprised if you were a emotional wreck all the time about just any old thing... IP: Logged |

The despair and pain of human drama is necessary to drag us out of total bliss, and total bliss is necessary to drag us away from the pain.Without both, we are pretty bored, especially with Pisces Moon, Venus or Ascendant. Pisces and Geminis make great philosophers, See I Heart Huckabees, it may help. Natasha

Although the only Piscean position I have in my chart is my Sun, I'm a very anxious/neurotic/shy person. People at my school are known to poke me when I'm not looking because I usually jump like a kangaroo. But meditation is looking to be very interesting to me, and I'd like to start trying it out. I've never meditated at all, does anyone have any resources they could reccomend to me on it?IP: Logged |

Everlong -Have you ever attended a meditation class in person? Cannot truly learn meditation any other way. Zen and the Art of Meditation. Skip the "information resources", you'll only get distracted from the true work you seek. IP: Logged | |
