OMG yeah! There are lots of taurus moons in my life--me, our nanny, my boss (with whom I get along with really really well!!). We are all "emotional" eaters! Funny enough it's like this: me: gem. sun, libra asc, taurus moon (jup in 6th), HUGE eater...I HATE that! nanny: virgo sun, libra asc, taurus moon: emotional eater, but otherwise very controlled, but a "good" eater (she's manages to stay thin though) boss: aqua sun and asc, taurus moon--poor thing got so ripped off lol...aren't aquas supposed to be long and lean? She has aqua eyes, but otherwise (like me) very taurus-y build--short, short neck, has to worry about weight. And this with both of us being otherwise double air...grrr... BTW, have I mentioned I hate having a taurus moon??? Not only are you an emotional eater, (happy, sad, lonely, mad, bored), but you're (I'm) too considerate of other people. Which makes me mad. Which of course makes me eat... devils circle... Love, Nackie IP: Logged |

oh yes, food definately=happiness sometimes. But for me it can go either way. I'll go through periods when I'm depressed and I'll either eat alot or completely deprive myself of food. Yesterday I was feeling really blue, and I didn't have one sensation of hunger throughout the day. This is kinda funny...I guess when I had to stay at my Dad's house, when I was little, sometimes I'd just scream and cry for food! He told my mom he thought it was a psychological problem and feared I'd be fat. (luckily I don't have that problem). I know now that I was obviously just depressed bc I had to stay with him and my Stepmother! They weren't very nice and the food was comfort to me. BTW, my fave indulgence is Haagen Dazs coffee Ice cream .yummy! IP: Logged |

Hmm.Interesting. My husband has that (in the sixth), and he's an admitted comfort eater, too. I suspected that his Moon was the culprit, and now I know This gives me an idea... IP: Logged |

Yes but I eat whether or not I'm stressed, I just like food! It hasn't started to show yet so I assume my metabolism is still high.I also have a tendency to throw a fit, be rather sarcastic, or get really depressed when stressed. Not sure if that is a Taurus moon thing also. IP: Logged |

You would never even know when my Taurus Moon gets stressed - I swear he never does. I'd say he just gets really quite and holds it all in. He doesnt do the eating thing. .....drinking, yes. But I'm not so sure that's stress related. Maybe it is.Nackie you said: "but you're (I'm) too considerate of other people. Which makes me mad." SO IS HE!! Sometimes TOO nice to people. It's a little annoying to me, when he does it and I can see that people take advantage of that or walk all over him. I wish he'd stand up for himself more. He's just a really good guy. Which is better than a bad guy, I guess!! He has an 11th house Moon (conj. Saturn) IP: Logged |

It's really true...you know, I have a saying for taurus moons: you can walk all over me, kick me when I'm down, but DON'T touch my food! That basically sums up a taurus moon hehe When I'm stressed I go into myself as well. I'll get very quiet (for a gem!), but get snappy if you don't leave me my space. And when it gets too much, gotta have comfort food! And lots of it... I know the moon is exalted in taurus, but I really DISLIKE my moon! It's the "heck, it doesn't even bother me that people walk all over me and take advantage of me!" moon placement. I have it in my 7th house, as well, so I take a lot of crap from my hubby (well not crap, exactly, but he's a cappy and I'm a gem...so you get the picture ) and I'm always the one to compromise and to give way to his ideas (we've moved due to his work 6 times in the last 8 years!). Man, I wanna be the alpha animal! lol Nackie IP: Logged |
