Can someone help me clear this up?I thought I was born year of the Dragon, January 1976. Then I was informed because Chinese new year is in February (and i was born in January) I am actually a Rabbit. I accepted this. THEN an Asian person told me it depends on what part of the orient you're in what month new years falls, and that it changes year to year! So now I don't know what I am. IP: Logged |

BTW... I read this somewhere before... apparently the Eastern animal signs have close equivalents in Western Zodiac and their temperaments/characteristics are also similar: Rat = Sagittarius
Ox = Capricorn
Tiger = Aquarius
Rabbit = Pisces
Dragon = Aries
Snake = Taurus
Horse = Gemini
Sheep = Cancer
Monkey = Leo
Chicken = Virgo
Dog = Libra

Hmmm... I'm a Rabbit Libra Sun/Gemini Rising/Cancer MoonI tend to really swoon over Pisces ('specially the boys) ... but I've never really considered myself much like them. The discription of Dog doesn't really suit me. Wouldn't be the first time I didn't fit the mold, though  Maybe others will find a connection. IP: Logged |

Hi LS,You're a Rabbit which would make your traits/characteristics somewhat like that of a Pisces. It doesn't quite work the other way around. I just found a site where you can plug in your date of birth to get the exact sign you would be... according to this site the chinese year falls somewhere between January 21 and February 21 ... I had always thought I was a monkey, til finding this, now I'm a sheep/goat ....
