lets talk about sex people....

i am reading a book by alan watts called nature, man and woman, and it got me thinking

i am interested to know what people think about all aspects of it...

leos love it, cancerians excel at it...hehe...scorpios are it
so does our astrological makeup determine our perception of all things to do with it? nature or nuture?

i know in sweden, they are stereotypically prudish. whats it like down your end?

do you think sex is love, spiritually or physically?

post your sign as well, so we can compare...

sex is love and familiarity, of course, because I can't imagine ever wanting to sleep with a guy I wasn't close and comfortable with, and that I didn't care about. I'm definitely not a one night stand kind of person. But... more than anything else, sex is fun ! Go figure- I'm a Tauremini

i, cancer...

personally, i think sex is anything goes...its solely depends on what you want from it.

i think its ok to be homosexual as well as hetero, though i think there as been far too much overanalysis of homosexuality.
i am not gay and do not consider myself bisexual either..but if i think one of my girlfriends is looking particularly sexy, i will kiss her on the mouth. i also love snogging girls cos i like the way they kiss....its different from guys. in my circle of friends, we all kiss each other on the mouth....no biggie

i have been with a girl but its not something i want to do again simply becos I do not enjoy it as much as I like being with men....the sex is much more to my liking.

i love to talk about it...but i do not really enjoy discussing solely the genitalia....as open minded as I am, that is where i get uncomfortable.

and i do think sex and the city has definitely changed the way woman communicate to one another....we are now more open and i guess we think its 'cool' to talk like that

for the men, i think it has made them more open as well, in the sense that they think its 'cool' that theyre understanding of such talk

alchemist...i love that name..word...

but, yea, it seems like a universal taurus thing to want to be stable...

all the taureans i know want just the one...
maybe its cos youre too lazy to spread it around

but i do know one who was with a girl for 11 years...17 through to 28...now he is just about the playing...cos I guess he missed out on a lot....
its definitely fun...its on;y something deeper for me if I feel more for the person

I think there is Sex and then there is Sex with love as in Making love.

I guess being an Aries, I can discriminate it very well in that I can have sex (just physically needed a relief - alone or with someone) and then I can make love where it runs very deep (I have Scorpio ascendant).

Either way, I have fun.

Leos love it.

Ok, you got me.! But we want our partner to love it too, especially with US, first and foremost , so we (at least *I*) aim to excel at it. This is much easier to do when you have a partner who has an earthy, healthy and non-uptight attitude about it. But, it shouldn't be taken too lightly either. It is, afterall, a form of profound bonding, and one should be somewhat discriminating about who they do that with. It leads to complicated psychological and emotional responses, and really shouldn't be trifled with, or you could end up with emotional *problems* down the road.

When it's a full experience of body, mind and soul union...it's better than any drug found on God's good earth any day.

I say, take it seriously, and if you're going to do it, do it well. Go deep, not wide. heh heh....

i would never say no to trying anything...and I think bestaility (sic?) isnt all that crazy. i have never tried it and it is far from anything i am thinking about but if i did ever find myself attracted to an animal, who knows. i know this is an extremeely controversial thing to say but I am just being honest. i am understanding of how people would probably want to be with an animal

I think that's disgusting
Anything goes between two consenting adults (of the same species). Technically, I don't see any difference between screwing and making love except for the parties' intentions - It's the same act only it has a different a meaning in our minds, in different circmstances.
Although I'm hetero I've had sex with a girl b/c I wanted sex and it was safe and convenient.
I've had 1 one night stand in my life (which was actually a 2 night stand) and didn't like it at all. I need familiarty.

duality,
its not for me thats for sure, but its just that who governs who or what we should be attracted to? for the same fact that people of the same sex are attracted to and make love to each other, and thats only just been universally accepted to a degree, shouldnt rule out that maybe in the same amount of time, inter-specie relationships might be accepted (understood)

its this book im reading, its based on the tao, and its like anything goes. it really has freed up my mind and im not trying to be antagonistic, i just want to know and understand....

a lot of the thoughts and ideas and constructs of the world we live in are just things that have been [passed down from generation to generation...most people dont wanna think outside the box cos they are comfortable with things the way they are...but hey, thats cool too...

the thing is pornograpohy based on bestaility exists...if such a thing exists within the realm of human possibilty, imagine what else could be out there?

imagine that in some cultures not being keen on such sexual acts might be seen as crazy...so whose crazy...?

im really impassioned huh? but its fair enough you think its disgusting Duality...i think its pretty crazy myself...

..but i think its amazing how different we all are and how much of a variant there must be in taste and likes and dislikes and cultures

its a beautiful world

moonbaby,
Social/moral rules exist for a reason - They are functional! You said "if I found myself attracted to an animal" - How do you know if "the animal" finds itself attracted to you??? Bestiality is an abomination! Just because it exist doesn't make it right! It's in the same category as pedophilia, necrophilia, raping old people, retards and unconscious people - These are all coercive acts because all of the above mentioned are helpless-powerless beings and have no way of giving their consent or lack of it, in any way!!!

Opening your mind to "possibilities" is one thing, losing it is another.
Boundaries and rules exist because they are supposed to protect us - ALL of us, including you from someone else forcing their will on you!
Anyone who rapes the above people/beings I had mentioned does it b/c of their inability to deal with an equal, with someone that can reject them, so they pick on someone that can't do that and can't object in any way. Such people are mentally ill!.
Your example of gay people is totally inappropriate when you compare them to all other "unconventional" acts b/c when that occurs between consenting adults, there should be no problem.

You don't have to deleate your post and I didn't mean to jump all over you. You actually started an interesting debate and since we are talking about sexuality it's interesting to define what is even considered "sexuality" - Rape isn't about sex it's about power, isn't it?
I heard on the news tonight about a pedophile raping a 4 yr old girl so I'm even more sensitive than usual about this.

Well then. A formidable debate indeedy - would anyone else like to join in? Wastn't it some great man who also said orgies provided a way for people to bond and trust each other much more quickly than our old conventional wisdom ways of "friendship at one's own pace?"

And why hasn't the USA been divided into 3 camps already?

i am saying that when homosexuality first came out it wasnt readily accepted, and abomination is a strong word, but it was frequently used to describe the act

and this is why I made this post and i love you for posting the above posts to me cos i totally see now. i mean I was just thinking about the movie I watched, animal farm its called, and the dogs getting turned on.

this in turn led me to believe they were enjoying it, because you cant rape men, can you?...or species with penises...but then animals cant really make that diffrentiation, so it is up to us beings with higher minds, right? i get it

or can they? see, this is what I'm saying...how do we truly TRULY know they dont like it? i know the chickens didnt, thats for sure...

youve made me feel much better cos I was in a real foul mood with the world...thinking i should just keep my thoughts to myself
