I was wondering is there any diffrence between using computer software to read out and intprete ones chart like using astro.com and programs like solar Fire 4.or is it better to hire an astrolger to do these things, as a computer can miss things. I just hired an astrolger to intrpete my birthchart and i'm beging to think that maybe i should have invested in buying computer software instead. IP: Logged |

Astrologers, like any real live counselor, has to be a good match for you. I think both ways are good for learning all you can ...IP: Logged |

Too late i got an intrpretation today, and wow. I was amazed by the accuracy, there is no way a computer can get the same acuarcy she did. I trust her, her sun is polar opposite of mind and her moon is in gemini, in the past i've found that i learn better the best from sags. IP: Logged |

I'm so glad someone else asked this question I have to decide how much I'm going to pay for what chart interpretation from an astrologer here. She seems rad, and I always learn a ton about myself from Cancer Suns. IP: Logged |

I strongly believe getting your chart interpreted by a real live astrologer is ALWAYS better than a computerized report. Astrology is an art along with a science. A computer can tell you about each placement and aspect and what they mean. But you can do the same thing by looking all of that up in books or online. A real (and good) astrologer takes your whole unique chart and puts things together and sees the connections that a computer cannot. A computer will never take the place of an astrologer's brain.....or any human's brain, for that matter. I think while somewhat informative, you will never get a really good reading from a computerized report that is just cut and paste of all of your chart's placements. You need a trained and proffessional, talented astrologer for that. There are pieces of the chart that a computer just cannot 'see' that only an astrologer can put together by looking at the chart as a whole. Not piece by piece like the computer does. I'm glad you found this out for yourself 3rdBen, and got a great reading. Computerized reports are a waste of money and doing damage to the real Art of astrology, putting Astrologers out of business. What about ordering an interpretation online? Would that be the same as having a computer interpret it or since it is personalized, would it be the same as hiring someone who'll stand next to you while they tell you what they're reading?IP: Logged |

You can still get personalized reports online from real astrologers. Those would be just as good. Just be careful not to get one that is just a cut and paste job - a computerized report. Some people think those are fine. But I disagree. There are astrologers out there that will send you a report that they personally interpreted. Just read the fine print to know if you are getting a computerized one or not. You dont really need to be sitting next to them to get a good report. Although it's nicer because you can ask questions. Why not take a look around your area, astrologers are everywhere. It's nice to help support them and their art too. Good luck.IP: Logged |

The best whould be look for astrolger gathering, somtimes there free and informative that you can learn something.I think you where right about the copy and paste thing, the reading that was money well spent. I like how she was able to inptrete the transits, they where dead on to where i am now. IP: Logged |

It would seem to me the best way to use them would be as if they were a pocket calculator - let them do the math for those of us who are impaired in that sense, then look at the chart to do your own interpretations - definately think their texts don't take the whole picture into account. The more you practice and study the easier it must get, as you start recognizing patterns.IP: Logged |
