I can't get a good "feel" for these signs. I've read extensively, and read all kinds of descriptions and things but the Pisces and Scorpio suns evade me. I know the keywords, but maybe this is just a mental block of some type. Maybe this is due to me having only one water placement (south node). This problem recently re-emerged in my studies in trying to understand my on again off again friend, who is Pisces sun, Scorpio rising. Can anyone help? A lost Aquarius, Courtney IP: Logged |

Hi Courtney! I'm a Pisces sun. I think maybe the best way would be for you to posit several situations and I'll tell you what I'd do in them.IP: Logged |

Another Piscean here... what is it that you don't understand? Is it just a basic blankness? Maybe the problem is that you're trying to hard too understand these sun signs- it's a more of a thing that you just have to stop trying and just be and watch them, you know? It's like that thing, you always find what you're looking for when you stop looking for it. I have a couple of Aquarian placements, so I know how it is, you want to look and look and understand and turn everything over, but humm. Whatever works for you.IP: Logged |

Well, its more like I have trouble transferring their keywords to personality traits. Especially Scorpios. When I think scorpio I associate issues of sex, other people's money, death etc. But what type of person does that make? It just seems to be easier for me with other signs. I don't know many Scorpio suns so its hard for me to "observe" them, but I'd like to be able to have a good idea in a reading of Scorpio energy, to be able to apply it to the planets. With Pisces I guess its a little easier. With the friend I was referring to, I just did her chart this afternoon and found a Leo Moon, which is most of the problem between us. It's ironic because I'm Leo rising. The point that we have contention in is her wanting to be my sole source of information regarding the things I'm learning right now (natural childbirth, etc). She's having trouble accepting my independent decisions. But that has more to do with her Leo Moon than anything else, I feel. Her sun and rising did get me thinking that I don't "know" these signs as well as the others. And I use "know" not in the mental sense but in the emotional/intuitive sense. IP: Logged |

Oh my! I just re-realized that I have my Uranus (ruling planet) in Scorpio. lol...pregnancy brain. Thinking more about Scorpio, I think I've always associated it with its darker aspects, Pluto too. I guess what I'm looking for is examples of the good sides of Scorpio.IP: Logged |
